That sounds about right... if you walked almost 5 miles, I'm sure that took a while. When I was in better shape, I burned about 5-7 calories per minute, then just subtracted by BMR from the total amount.

I don't know if your Garmin watch has a HRM, if it doesn't, stop using it to track calories... your "exercise" for the last few days cannot be right so you're eating WAY too much. If you're doing this on the regular, that's why you're not losing weight.

Compare pictures of your face and also look at your body overall. Are your clothes fitting differently? I also echo what others have said about fat around your organs, places you're not measuring, water weight, etc. I didn't start noticing a HUGE difference until about 20 lbs and then not much until I got past 40.
