  • Welcome! you will def fine what you need here. I just joined this month and have gotten a lot out of this site!
  • It can be difficult at times and thats ok. I believe its part of the process, epsecially when it's a lifestyle change like you mentioned. Hang in there, you are not alone. We all go through those days and we all make it through, just like you have and you will. I had a really rough day myself yesterday, so I just worker…
  • Welcome, I just joined this month as well, and I can tell you, you will find the support and motivation you need. This site is fab!
  • I can 100% feel you on this, and I was also doing the same thing - working out everyday and watching what I was eating and making sure I was drinking a tone of water. It wasn't until my husband told me that I needed a day to rest, so my body could recover that I acctually took a day off and I weighed myself two days later…
  • Way to go! So glad you are happy with what you accompished and the outcome of all that hard work! I agree, I would def take the muscle tone over the number on the scale! Great job!!!!!
  • What is your daily cal intake? Maybe you didn't eat enough and when you do that, your body thinks its starving and will hold on to any extra weight it can. Food fuels the body and gives it the energy it needs to burn cals.
  • I agree with, pcbta. Jillian's 30 Day Shred is a good one and it's short, so you are not spending hours at the gym or at home working out. And believe me, it kicks your butt big time!
  • I hear ya! It can be discouraging but what I have learned from the good folks on MFP, that any pounds lost, it a GREAT thing! 6 pounds in a month, to me, is a good and healthy start! Keep up the good work!
  • How much water do you drink? How much do you exercise? Those are huge when it comes to weight-loss. It's def is hard work and a struggle! Also, if you're not eating enough, especially the right kinds of foods, your body is going to hold on to the weight. Like someone suggested, log your cals and make sure you are eating…
  • I agree with noseovertail, everything in moderation. We don't workout so we CANT have sweets once in a while, we work out so we CAN have naughty food once in a while! Especially if you are into a pair of jean you haven't worn in years....I think it's ok! But I understand why you feel guilty, just know there is no need to.…
  • Thank you all so much! Inches are more important and I will start measuring myself. I guess if my husband has noticed a difference, it must be working!
  • Thanks for the food tips! Very helpful information.
  • Welcome! I just joined this week and I have learned so much! You will def learn a lot and be supported and motivated, as I have been within these few short days. Good luck!
  • I know what you mean! I love my coffee and I love my creamer! I do use the fat free creamer but I know it's not good for you since it has all that fake flavoring stuff, so I have tried regular Half n' Half (lite) and I add vanilla extract. It is healthier and taste great! It's not 100% the same, but it comes close. Hope…
  • You are not alone, so please keep pushing through! I am exactly where you are. I would like to lose 25 lbs and I have been working out and eating right for two months and only lost 5 lbs bringing me to the 25 I still would like to lose - it is very discouraging. The bright side it, other people have been where we are and…
  • I just joined and already I hate to have a surplus of cal or just left over cal. As you, I rather not eat anything else either for fear I will go over my daily cal intake, yet I want to make sure I'm eating enough! So NO, it doesn't sound stupid at all and it def messes with my head too! :)
  • The fact that you joined in Feb and have already lost 11 lbs is amazing! Keep up the good work and remember, each pound counts!
