Buy low sodium salt. When cooking don't add salt if using processed ingredients, like tomato paste, diced tomatoes, sausage, because these already have salt. Use sea salt and you will use less salt. Don't eat processed foods, because they have too much salt - cook for yourself.

Started in January 2013 (8 months) to lose 20 lbs. However, I was on a plateau for 10 weeks, until I recently figured out that I can lose weight better by exercising only a little and focusing on eating less calories. Now I'm losing 1.5 lbs per week again for the past 2 weeks.

If you are completely honest with your food diary and you are eating below your Base Metobolic Rate (BMR), then for each 3500 calories deficit you should see a 1 lb loss. If I eat back my exercise calories, I don't lose weight; which doesn't make sense, because if I am still under the calorie goal, then I should be in deficit by the end of the week.

I was on Novia 28 for 23 years and it was great. Clock work periods that lasted about 3-4 days - light. Now that I'm approaching menepause, the Novia isn't cutting it. lunch meat - I like to roll them up like appetizers. Light Baby Bell rounds. Cut up veggies. Triscuts or Whole Grain Pepperidge Farm Fish. Wraps are always great too. Sushi!!! Don't know if you access to a microwave, but soup in a Coffee travel mug is good too. Fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries). Grapes.

You can download them for free from UTube. I exercise 6-7 days a week and tried the Level 1 with 5 lb weight and felt like I was going to throw up for about 30 min after. I have a lot of respect for people that do this. Once I mentally get over my last exerperience I plan to try it again.

I agree, you can't eat your exercise calories. I always aim to be under goal by 200-300 calories on days I exercise.

1 lb of muscles weighs exactly the same as 1 lb of fat :) If you cut your calorie intake in half, you may have put your body into starvation mode. Your brain doesn't know you are trying to lose weight, all it knows is that the intake was drastically cut. The brain's reaction is to hord water and food for survival.…
