1001 Slow Cooker recipes by Barbara Jones. Don't think they are all lo cal but a good start. Slow cookers are the Shiznizzle! You can literally make anything in them. I like to put ground turkey (raw) with spaghetti sauce, and lots o veggies and leave for work. Guess what? When you get home, dinner is done! Throw some pork…

199 pounds Baby!!! Been at least 7 years since I have said that. Only 4 more lbs!

I did low carb for 3 months, lost 32 pounds, went back to eating a regular lo-fat diet and eventualy gained it back. Got tired of that crap, focused ONLY on consuming less calories, working out 6x week, and have lost 20 lbs and feel 100% better than the lo carb. The last time I counted a carb was....hell, who knows.

Have been a boxer family all my life. My aunts, uncles, grandparents, brother all have boxers. My baby girl is on my profile pic. I have no idea how I would live without a boxer.....

Way to many to declare "the best" but the one i will remember the most is Iron Maiden's "Somewhere Back In Time" tour... energy, lights, stage changes, pyro, and Eddie!!

Right on!! I smoked for 8-10 years, saw my g-ma pass away from neck cancer (she was a non-smoker but lived with smokers) and that was it for me....Dec 23 1998 I was a smoker, Dec 24 1998 I was a non smoker and never took a hit/puff anything since that day. It's a mental battle after a few days when the cravings…

That's beautiful!!

I would say that I am not "annoyed" by similar people in my work environment, but yeah, this happens all the damn time. It's as if they are trying reverse psychology and trying to get themsleves to put it down...I am unsure about their motives...?

Ehlo and Price are two of my all time fav NBA players

Sorry, connect is a bad choice of words. You don't have to connect the 2 by a cord, but through the free Kindle app and signing into your Amazon account you can LINK your Kindle and smartphone....
-
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but you can connect the kindle to a smartphone (I have an HTC Inspire) and read the same books on your Kindle on your phone. Kind of an extra added bonus when you can't have your Kindle out...like at work. I am also a book collector. I have a ton of books (about 3 bookshelves worth) but…

FT4, I have been using it for the past 2 weeks and love it...got mine on Amazon for around $50. Really simple to use, shows calories burned, target zones, etc. Pretty basic. The chest strap is the most comfortable that I have found. Its easy on and off.

If you replace "beer" for Sangria in your comment, we had the same exact experience! I put on probably 20 lbs from "football brew" and late night snacking.

You can do it! I smoked for 10 years and gave it up overnight and havent touched it since. That was 14 years ago. Its all a mind game. You will never regret dropping that habit. I was a pack a day, (1.5 pack a day when I was drinking) guy. Think about your health and the $ you will save. Put that money towards some kick…

Dropping the alcohol. This has been my biggest challenge in 2011. It is the reason that I got to 223. Late night snacking along with a 6-pack destroyed my hard work for the day. I plan on drinking occasionally, but will not be keeping it in the home. I do in home workouts so I am working on getting my 2 teens involved also.

I love Power 90 and Rev Abs. Power 90 came before P90X and is a lot less intense. I am currently on day 61 of Rev Abs, and with the help of MFP and cutting out the beer, I have dropped 15 lbs. These are my 2 favs.

"That reading all the posts in a 15pg thread on MFP will result in you not getting any work done"

Nope, just a yoga mat (not required) and lots o space to move around.

I gained .5. This was the first year that I did not overindulge everyday and still enjoyed the Holidays. I had one day that I had 6-7 cookies and that was about it. We will all get back on track!

I went to the dr on Nov 8th and she labeled me as obese also. My first thought was, "damn, really, me, obese?" This is when I decided to take control and get back into eating right, working out, (not stress eating) and getting the beers out of my home. I went back today and have lost 15 lbs in 7 weeks. Now, I too have…

I am not going to state my opinion, but rather encourage you to start a blog and log everyday. I am curious to see the results...if you have blogged and I missed it, I apologize. thanks
