I agree with what everyone here has said. You can't even worry about such a thing or you will never get out there. I cycle a lot and have seen all shapes and sizes out there on organized rides. Who cares? If you like to shop for fun gear, get yourself a cool jersey to help motivate you. Check out teamestrogen.com

Sorry but I am going to be honest. I am starting to feel burned out on these workouts. Maybe it's just temporary. I hope so! I did Level 2 again today but without much enthusiasm.

I took the weekend off, too. Didn't log food or exercise. I caught a bug last week, as well, that had me really struggling to do Friday's 30DS. So here I am, new week, feeling better though not full strength yet. So I did my third workout of level 2 today and really felt winded! Amazing how just a couple of days off can…

Hi, ladies Hope you don't mind if I join you. So glad to see I am not the only one out there dealing with the struggle to keep calories down, lose weight but still have a little fun once in a while. I was on a daily diet of booze over the summer. I LOVE to drink when I grill and I do that almost every night during the…

Good for you, Tammy! You have the right attitude. Keep on keepin' on! :flowerforyou: Just do what you can - the main thing is to keep going. As for me, all my office mates have been hacking and sneezing all around me for about a week, so I think I am finally succumbing. Feel off kilter, so not sure I can shred today. But I…

I am definitely a cherry pie freak. I just bought a new case of them the other day from Earth Fare and has anyone noticed this phenomenon recently? They have shrunken the size of the bar! The wrapper is the same size but there is about one quarter missing now! I know times are tough for everyone but - that's misleading!…

Thanks for sharing! It was love at first sight when I saw the sweet potato and black bean chili recipe. Just bought sweet potatoes last night without much of a plan. Now I have an awesome-looking (and easy-to-make) dish to look forward to - thank you for sharing this! I would eat so much better if I had a few decent…

Did my first day of Level 2 today. Saturday was a rest day, Sunday was a cycling day - 70 miles! I have to say I noticed a difference in my cycling strength and I know it's cuz of Jillian. I am not even sore today, the day after. And that NEVER happens to me - my legs usually kill me after such a long ride. I've been doing…

Logged Day 6, Level 1 this morning at 5, before my spin class. Pants are a little bit looser today. Wish now I had taken measurements along with some of you. Hope everyone gets great results tomorrow! Keep up the good work!

Did bootcamp for an hour at my gym this morning instead of the shred. Found I had much better stamina that some of the other people doing the workout and I have to think it's because of the Jillian conditioning! Gotta love it!

I think the majority of folks log it under the category of "circuit training - general" .

Day 5 and I have a couple of observations. I no longer am sore after this workout and my body doesn't seem to mind the daily dose. Some days the workout goes by in a flash and other days, it seems to drag. And today is the first day I didn't really work up much of a sweat. I still find it challenging though, and today…

Day 4 in the bag. The arm raises with the side lunges are getting easier and this was the first day I got through all of the shoulder raises without stopping. There is definitely a method to Jillian's madness. This kind of routine (only one rest day and weights every day) goes against everything I have ever done. But I…

Day 3 and somehow I am not as sore as I was yesterday. I thought doing a workout on top of sore muscles would kill me, but it seems like the pain has gone away. Weird - not sure if that's good! I also hate the front raises with the squats, like some of you have said. So is everybody doing 10 days for each level? Or one…

One shred in the bag for Saturday. It may be level one, but it still kicked my butt. Especially the shoulder presses in a squat position. Bring it, everybody! Let's make it happen this month!!

Clairbou1 - I have also wondered about the daily training with only one day off thing. Everything I have ever read says you should never weight train two days in a row. But I have done both the Shred and Ripped in 30 and never got injured so I guess it's okay. I do notice I get much more toned doing the daily thing. I…

Ripped in 30 is also very good. Jillian does 4 circuits on Ripped as opposed to three on the Shred. Both are very similar and you can't go wrong with either.

I just finished Ripped in 30, so why not go back to this one and join you all. I love Jillian and her no-nonsense attitude and funny comments. My goal is to lose my growing love handles by Halloween. I'd be thrilled with 5 pounds that *STAY* off. I am forever hovering around the same spot on the scale. Sick of it!! Thanks…

I just had my first shot today for lunch and I gotta tell ya - I'm amazed at how full I feel. And how much energy I have. Like I just had a cup of high-powered coffee. I, too, entered into my diary and was dismayed at the numbers. Try this link for the nutritional breakdown - pretty impressive. Is there a way to enter this…

Agreed - very good advice and helps explain why I struggle so much to drop even a few pounds. I do exactly the opposite of what you said. Very light breakfast, medium to light lunch and dinner is when I eat the most, mainly because it's when I have the most time to prepare food. Got to figure out how to switch things…

You really don't need much room at all - just enough to run in place and lay down for abs. It's a great little workout - hope you try it!

I started on June 1 but was so sore from the first workout, that I had to take a few days off! I broke my elbow over the winter and the anterior raises in Level 1 really got me good. Had to rest my gimpy arm. But after a deep tissue massage, I now have two more workouts under my belt. The second one was tough after a week…

Yep, this is me exactly! I do great during the week, then the weekend rolls in and it's "treat" time in my mind. I start drinking a mojito, then two, then maybe another and then I start eating. Sucks. It does feel, as you said, like a weekly sabotage game. I know I should ditch the alcohol, but I don't want to! (to be said…

That does sound good! As an oatmeal lover, I have been hooked for several months on quaker steel cut oats for breakfast. Since I just started MFP, I am appalled to see that they list one cup of steel cut as having 600 calories!! That's half my daily allowance down the tubes for breakfast only! And I only added a drizzle of…
