my husband plans on getting our prints of our children's feet on his chest, right over his heart, with their names and birth dates. I think you should definitely get something that means something to you :) your children are obviously important to you, and anything for them would be awesome. :)

LOVE THIS. :) The office manager stopped me the other day to tell me that she'd been "meaning to talk to me". I was scared at first, until she asked me to spin around and demanded to know what happened to my butt. She said "one day I came in and POOF! you were smaller!" It was so cute. (it helps that she's my mother's age…

I've set my daily goal to 1900 because my main focus is to consume 165 g protein a day. I have the mentality that food is fuel, but seriously, I eat a lot of crap. I'm working on fixing that, one step at a time. I def think you should up your cals from 1200. There are very few people who are set to be @ 1200, you're likely…

dunno about a dvd, but if you do squats(with hand weights), it will help. Women's health has a lot of great exercise (WITH PHOTOS!!) here's an example of one i love ;) http://l.yimg.com/ea/img/-/100902/0604_dbell_back_ovrh-167u91g.jpg?x=300&q=80&n=1&sig=bBBUXwcB4WcNu_epBnTzFA-- if the link doesnt work, you can find the…

BOOM! love it. I can't wait to be obese :oP

yay! you're going to love it! :)

do it slow and steady! the first few are supposed to be easy. make sure you're not running to far or too fast, that's how you'll get hurt. You can move up next week, and you'll be doing 20 minute runs in no time. :) I should also comment that I do run on the "off days" ;)

love it! :)

yep! She's (DawnRenee567) amazing and encourages me all the time! I have a total of 120 to lose, and some days are definitely harder than others!!! Set up some mini goals! It's much easier to focus on the small ones! Right now I'm working @ 242lbs, which will be 25 lbs lost! only 5lbs :) you can do it. The great news is…

I'm 5'9" large Swedish build, currently @247 down 20lbs. @267 I was wearing 20s, and I could squeeze into my new 18s, and 20lbs later I'm still in them because they fit at the hip. (but now they're too big everywhere else!) My 20s are loose and sit at my hip now instead of my waist and bag all over. I'm trying to wait…

you are both amazing and are certainly doing BIG, AWESOME THINGS! :) I'm pretty sure she meant the chit-chatting comment to refer to the women @ curves who aren't giving it all they've got and using their time as a social hour. (evidently NEITHER of you are anywhere near that category, you're kickin @$$!!!!) I'll chit chat…

:o) oh hell yeah ;) this post seriously made me grin. ;) I'm not the most vocal friend, and I don't post 230498309284 times a day, but any of you gorgeous girls who would like to add me are more than welcome to :oD keep it up! (soon we'll be smaller big girls doing big things! xoxo) today I was sad/frustrated with my…

No kids, high pain tolerance- Mirena since May 2010. My obgyn gave me xanax before the procedure because I'd never had anything like that done before. (she suggested I take xanax, who am I to argue?!?) ;) Measurement was worse that placement, but it hurts plenty. You'll have cramping and backaches for a couple days, and…

me too! if you measure the portion out, it's not as hazardous as some other choices! bring your water bottle and enjoy!!!

Based on the artificial sweetener studies we completed in college on drosophila melanogaster (fruit flies), repetitive exposure to artificial sweeteners increased the intake of regular sweeteners. You also tend to take in WAY more real sugar after you're exposed to artificial sweeteners- most likely because artificial…

My college sweetheart worked out just fine, thank you :o) but on to your question. I think that if you plan for it, you would be just fine getting married during school. I would plan to have the wedding during a break from classes (I'm not sure if your program goes go year round) Really what is most important when planning…

I ordered by ft40 yesterday also, and for the same reason!!!! :o)

The calorie content is BEFORE cooking. for example: Ronzoni Rotini 2oz (about 3/4 cup) = 210 calories. To determine how much that was cooked, I boiled the entire box (16oz) and divided the cooked pasta into 8 equal portions (servings per box) and each portion weighed approximately 4.3 ounces. so... 1 portion = 2oz raw =…

broccoli/ cauliflower with carrots and garlic hummus! :o)

thanks :o) everyone has been so awesome about this. today is the "I'm interested in hearing more" meeting and if he's still interested, we'll be going together to the next meeting. I kinda feel that if he'd expressed this serious interest before now that I would have done something different with my degree. I'm currently…

YAY! I had a similar NSV @ lunch today. A co worker joined me for my "walk" and we JOGGED over half (probably 3/4) of the 2.5 miles! great job :) :) :)

thank you all so much for your responses! I'm going to try and answer EVERYONE'S questions. I'm 24, he's 23. I have a BA in biology, he has a HS diploma. Neither of us drink or smoke. No DUIs, arrests, etc. We've been together since he was 17 and I was 18. When we got married, I was 23 and he was 22. His family lives 800…

I think active duty, but I certainly don't understand the difference. My only experience with anything military was my college roommate's sweetheart/husband who did 4 years with the Marines.
