I'm 5'11 and my ultimate goal would be 155 (college weight) - but would be happy at 165 which was my weight when I got married 10 yrs ago. I would say I have a medium to large build and I've always had a large chest - hoping to lose more of that :) I will reevaluate as this progresses, my muscle tone is definitely a focus…

My butt, thighs, hips have definitely gone first - my belly is smaller and so are my arms. My chest and face still look the same, which totally sucks since I am definitely an apple shape. My cardio is focused mostly on the lower half, so that makes sense and my husband says its a huge difference from before - though…

YOU LOOK AMAZING AND SO HAPPY!!!! TOTAL INSPIRATION, THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Big difference! You look great, your face has slimmed so much and your torso - fantastic job!!! You keep doing what you are doing and the rest will be off before X-mas! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
What a big change in your face!!!! I understand not wanting to post FB shots yet but you will get there - FANTASTIC JOB!!!!
-
I feel the same way - can't wait for this weight to be off because I am going to STRUT! My mother is a massage therapist and I've been under the sheet enough to know what you are talking about. Sounds like you already have a good start - welcome to MFP! You can add me as a friend if you like :)
-
Yay!!! Great job, you look fabulous. Keep up the good work!!!
-
BUMP!!!!

Hi, My youngest daughter, 3 1/2 yrs old, is autistic - her older sister is 5. Eve is non verbal but considered high functioning - just officially diagnosed this year. A month after she was born she developed a hemangioma that covered her left eye and has had significant vision problems, so that muddied the waters for us.…

AMAZING!!!! Well done, you are a real inspiration and I am so glad you shared your story. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Definitely an NSV - you broke a pattern of behavior and stayed accountable! Way to go!!!!!

I measure most things (don't eat potato's so that isn't an issue, lol!) with kitchen implements but I don't have a scale. Pasta and cereal were the big eye openers for me! I don't have a scale because most of meat that I have to "eyeball" is boneless skinless chicken breast and I could use more lean protein in my diet…

So inspiring to see your story, thank you for sharing. As a mother of an autistic 3 yr old I know how scary parking lots can be! Best wishes to you and your family, you should be so proud of your accomplishments!
-
Way to go! You lost the weight, you are keeping it off and forget the rest if they are negative about your awesome weight loss!
-
I don't set dates with my mini goals. IMHO the point is to hit those goal weights and it puts too much pressure to have a set time when that is supposed to be accomplished. Reaching those goals should make you feel great, not worse about your progress.
-
You can add me as a friend - support is essential when you are trying to lose weight! I know you can do it - you already lost so much weight that once you stick to a program the rest will come off as well. Best of luck! Ruth
-
That definitely is an NSV! Way to go, small victories like that keep me going too.
-
Hi and welcome! I think it's great that you are making this change - I am a 34 yr old mother of two little ones and wish I had started a lot earlier! My goal weight is 155 and we are starting at similar weights, hope we can encourage each other along the way. I am sending you a friend request :)
-
Great job, you can really see the weight loss in your face. WTG!!!!
-
Bump- tracking this because all the suggestions are great and I need more fiber in my diet!
-
You look amazing - glowing really! Congratulations on all your hard work because it has paid off!
-
Way to go! Not to sound weird but I am really proud of you for standing up for YOUR needs and making your health a priority. Glad you are changing the gym membership to your name - sure they won't let you switch it early?
-
I am a stay at home mom of a 5 year old and an autistic 3 year old. The gym is NOT an option for me - my husband works long hours and I just can't stick my youngest in childcare for the duration of a workout. But I knew things needed to change so I started doing cardio walking workouts 5+ times a week at home with dvds…

You should be so proud of yourself! What an inspiration, thanks for sharing!

I can see how much you've changed in your profile picture - what an amazing transformation! You look great, congratulations on your success!
