Living in South Shields (just outside of Newcastle), originally from London. Always happy to have more friends from UK.

*In a Joey from Friends style* ' How you doin?' , haha!

Nope, first time I've had the luxury of meeting them ;)

Hi Hayley, welcome to MFP :) I'm 31 and living in a little town just outside of Newcastle. I'm active daily, log all my food and my diary is open so you're more than welcome to take a look if it may help. I'm looking at losing my beer belly and only really started to knuckle down in last few weeks and already seeing an…

I can't recall how I came across this site but I'm thankful that I did. I never used to track my food but since I have started doing so I've felt an extra push in reaching my goals. I've befriended some wonderful people who challenge and push me every day who I'm thankful for. I've also met one person in particular who I'm…

I'm living in North East, originally from London. Feel free to add me :)

You serious? Ah man, that's not nice of them! Hope you've not woken up from a nap and been like 2 hours after hometime, lol

It's just been released here in the UK and am glad to of read all these reviews. I've had the Charge for a week and think I'm contemplating upgrading to the Surge. Thankfully I have someone who will take the Charge off of me for face value so not losing any money. Keep them coming as my decision won't be made for another…

Looking for more friends to compete with in challenges, www.fitbit.com/user/2XDGBQ :)

I lived in London for 27 years but moved up to North East 3 years ago when I felt like I needed a change in my life. I jacked in my job, put everything in storage and jumped on a train with me suitcase. Three years on and I'm still living in South Shields and love it. Just wished I'd moved sooner. I'm fortunate enough not…

Day out on the lash!

www.fitbit.com/user/2XDGBQ Looking forward to getting my Charge HR when it's released, would love to have some friends to compete with.

lol , I'm thinking that same thing as I really want something now and too impatient to wait.

I'm partaking in Dry January also, what's worse is that I've still got 30+ bottles of Budweiser in my kitchen. I'm going to take all my alcohol and put it in my shed hoping the saying 'Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind' will be true. I go to the pub every weekend with friends and none of them believe that I'll succeed so not only…

Originally from London, but now live in South Shields. Getting back on track with my journey and would love to have more UK friends to support,

I've heard great things about Bamburgh but not ventured there yet, this Summer I'm looking to get to as many places as I can. I used to live in Surrey and there were some wonderful places but I'm so happy up here and can't see me moving back down South at all. I'm at work too, but it's soooooo quiet! :(

I drink far too much and not only does it mean my waistline is growing but my bank balance is shrinking, lol! I'll definitely stay in touch and we'll both share as to how we're getting on.

Shame I don't live in Newbury as I'd love a gym buddy too. I agree with what you say about alcohol and crappy food, also how once I've got the gym bug again I'll be back on the wagon. I'm going to hit the gym tomorrow for the first time in months. Give it a week and I'll be back in the swing of things. Partaking in 'Dry…

Never been before heftybelson but it does look lovely. May venture down in Summer.

Moved up to South Shields (just outside Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England) 3 years ago and love the beach during the Summer.
-
I've ordered one and it's due for delivery today, if I encounter any issues or can help you with yours I'll be sure to let you know. Good luck with it :)
-
Yayyy! Glad you've managed to get it sorted,

Hmm, strange. What browser are you using? I'm using Google Chrome. I've just tried and it's letting me type in the box.

I'm waiting for the FitBit Charge HR to be released here in the UK. I've purchased FitBit Aria which will track my weight and log automatically. I admit these may not help me reach my goal but I'm hoping they will.
-
That web link you posted doesn't work for some reason :/ , I'm looking forward to seeing how it all works and how my weight being automatically logged helps keep me on track and monitor. You mention 'TW', what's this?
-
I'm also in England and am eager to find out when it's being released, I can't find a release date. The only thing I can do is to sign up for them to notify me, it says Early 2015 but that's not very specific. If I hear anything I'll be sure to post it for others to read.
-
Open the link for the spreadsheet and just enter your name in Column A, then from tomorrow return and enter in the distance you ran in the specific date column. It will add all the days together and create a total and also subtract from the 'To Goal' column also. I hope this helps you out, I'm not a wizz with Google Sheets…

Hugs, always enjoy a good hug

I've personally met the Queen and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. They were lovely and was surprised when they stopped and spoke to me whilst opening a brand new library where I live a few years back,

Hey! I never really used the community side either at first but found many interesting topics which I could relate to and get involved with. Also made some new friends from these too. I hope you enjoy this side of the site and find topics which interest you, :)
