I have an implanon; got it a year ago. I like it. I started lifting heavy things around the same time I got it... so the 5lbs I went up in the last year probably wasn't the implanon. My chest increased a cup size. Before that I used the Seasonique pill. I liked it as well. I was on it for 8 years before getting the…

More weight, lower reps. If you can do 20 reps at 10lb, you can easily upgrade to 15lb or 20lb dumbbells and work up to 5 reps in each set. (Also, I think the names of your exercises listed after curls are one arm overhead press and tricep kickback.)

With an injury, it might be best to talk to a physical therapist. Bodyweight exercises are not equivalent to lifting a less-than-5 lbs weight.

Why do you have the calorie goal so low? You can probably use the "lose .5 lbs per week" setting and be happier and find it easier to sustain later. Based on your description you sound at least lightly active. Here's a calculator that might help: http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html

Hmm, that's kinda my goal.

I don't follow that specific program, but I do lift with a trainer.

I don't really see anything that weird....which means it's probably me. :blushing:

I just had a kettlebell bent press PR of 22lbs each side.

If your clothes fit better, you're getting smaller. If you need to see numbers change, try a tape measure. :flowerforyou:

Aw, thanks!

Do it! Lift! It's certainly made me look and feel a lot better. :flowerforyou:

Start lifting. Then when they say "you will get too bulky!" you can say "but you said I was too skinny!"  (PS: the joke is on people's reactions to women lifting, not on lifting. Feel like I have to clarify that here, heh.)

I've had one for 12 years and I never knew it was considered trashy. WHY DID YOU LET ME GO OUT IN PUBLIC LIKE THIS?

Congrats on the NSV! BTW, you can get little pouches to pin inside a bra or attach to the band. I've seen them at REI. Might let you buy new sizes less often if you can secure stuff that way? Just another option, I guess.

Both of these^^^. And I used to take Seasonique, which was *designed* as 13 week cycles rather than 4 weeks.

Panache underwire sports bra. I have it in 32F. Easy to get on, then hook the straps together to a racerback shape if you want/need it. http://www.amazon.com/Panache-Womens-Underwired-Sports-Bra/dp/B005X5FG2O

I usually wear concealer, eyeshadow, liner, and mascara. Sometimes I remember tinted moisturizer. With zero makeup I have significant dark circles I am constantly asked whether I am sick or tired. :explode: With concealer on my eye - bottom AND top lid - and a little black powder as liner and mascara I've gotten the "see,…

I feel like you need to contact him and tell him to cash that last money order. And proceed to pay off the debt and get the eff out of the situation. Focus on eliminating debt and moving on.

Yes! Also expect improved balance and increased strength.

You might have some luck looking for routines on Youtube. Lots of different material there.

People. I don't even. I hope you never have to deal with stuff like this. These are not the comments of decent human beings. I do like your attitude and wish you have only awesomeness at your new job. :flowerforyou:

Are you tracking measurements? Have you gained any inches or stayed the same/lost?

Women who want small amounts of muscle are beautiful. Women who want muscular bodies are beautiful. Whatever. :) OP, two suggestions: 1) get a more accurate body composition test if you can. if not, or in addition 2) track your lbm on those calculators as you progress. Just like a scale that is 5 lbs off, you can still…

I have a Panache Sport. It goes on with a back clasp, then you can hook the straps together to turn it into a more-supportive racerback. I think it was about $75. I also like Moving Comfort Fiona, but when I grew out of it, I switched to the Panache.

You don't want to lose muscle mass as you are losing weight. Lifting will help you hold on to your lean body mass (and so increase your muscle to fat ratio). So it's never to early to start benefitting! :)

30. no kids, no desire to change that. :drinker:

Ok, I never said anything about "kettlebell training." OP has access to kettlebells; I lift using mostly kettlebells because they fit well for my RMs. It's just another option to all the bodyweight suggestions given OP's existing tools.
