Worked my part time job today (facilitating a group) and my co-facilitator (who I haven't seen since April) said "damn, girl, you losin' weight?" I wanted to kiss him!!

New clothes and my second tattoo!

I pretty much start sweating the minute I start thinking about putting on my workout clothes. And I don't stop until at least an hour after I'm done. I've tried the cooler showers, but they haven't helped me. I tend to not workout before work unless I'm working a later start time (I make my own schedule), so it doesn't…

You got this, girlfriend!! :flowerforyou:

Absolutely NONE!! I love other people's kids, but what I love most about them is being able to send them HOME!
-
Hahahahaha! My man says the same thing. He wondered why I spent money on a gym membership when all I have to do is call him to get a workout in! :blushing: But, to answer OP question - no, I don't log it. I'm one of those people who only logs the exercise that I specifically do for the purpose of exercise.

If there are any consignment shops in your area, try to see if you can take the clothes you recently bought there to be sold. That way maybe you'll also make some extra money to fund the next size down! So far, i haven't really had to buy anything new as I had my next size down still in my closet from the last time (and…

My plan is to take anything that I absolutely love, and can't part with, to be tailored so they'll fit (I have one beautiful suit that definitely fits that category and probably a couple of other things). Anything else is getting bagged up and donated. One of the local department stores does a "Goodwill Sale" every season,…

I eat Kashi Cinnamon Harvest with some fresh fruit and skim milk when I have time to actually sit down and have a bowl of cereal.

Actually....YES....this is exactly what I do. Plus I will add a good cardio workout into the day, if i can. I'm not going to do this every day, but if I want to have something that's going to be a little bit out of the normal, I plan for it. Last night we got Chinese take out, so I adjusted my breakfast and my lunch to…

when I use the bottled kind, I tend to log whatever it says for one serving - usually 2 tablespoons or something - I figure that's probably about how much ends up in the food I'm eating, even if I let the food sit in the entire bottle. If I'm making my own, I try to guess as best I can based on the ingredients I used.

Check this out. I've found it to be pretty close to the system my gym uses (FitLinxx) which is almost always accurate according to the HRM my trainer had me wear a couple times. http://www.caloriesburnedhq.com/zumba-calories-burned/

I love the elliptical because I burn way more calories for the same amount of exerted effort. However, I'm also doing C25K, so I am on the treadmill every other day for that. Hands down, though, I prefer being outside - just with the heat and humidity, it's easier for me to be in the gym or in my basement on the equipment.…

I thought the same thing!! what a great accomplishment! :flowerforyou:

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha! And THAT is my favorite part of the ENTIRE season!! (Go Panthers!)
-
Awesome idea!! Will have to remember this! I've also just baked small breasts (usually Purdue perfect portions) and then throw a little bit of shredded cheese on to melt for a few minutes and then top with salsa and sour cream

I'm often on the road for work, so I have to eat out of my car (or run through the drive thru, which is a very rare thing anymore) so I tend to take yogurt, almonds, cut up fruit/veggies, celery with laughing cow cheese wedge, hummus (with veggies, or sometimes crackers), rice cakes with peanut butter (or nutella) and…

I always do my weights first. I sweat like a beast when I'm doing cardio and I don't want to get that much sweat on the weight machines (I do only machines, no free weights....yet). My weight circuit that is set up takes me about an hour to get through if I do the whole thing - some days I do and then do a minimum of 30…

C25K - W1D3 30 minutes on the stationary bike

Carolina Panthers fan here (ok, stop laughing now!), but my Dad is a diehard Steelers fan (and I grew up a Steelers fan), so they still hold a little piece of my heart.....
-
I did it last year....it was GREAT! I couldn't run the whole thing (lost my inhaler somewhere around the first or second obstacle and didn't want to have an asthma attack and die in the middle of the woods alone, so I chose to walk alot of it)...My goal wasn't to finish quickly anyway - I was shooting for completing all…

If I'm hungry, yes. If not, no.

You're my new best friend!! :flowerforyou:

Nuh Uh....no way....those two pictures are NOT of the same person...are they? Really? WAY TO GO!!! I hope you're super proud of what you've accomplished!! :flowerforyou:

This is also the belief I have. I don't believe in "diets" because, eventually, you stop dieting. I look at what I'm doing as a permanent change. I still eat WHATEVER I want to eat....and sometimes that includes "bad" things...but I'm doing it in moderation and I'm staying within my calorie goal for the day. I refuse to…

All of the above!! :)

I have two: An orange and white tabby (Male) named Drake and a Russian Blue (Female) named Molly. They came from the shelter with those names and I didn't have the heart to change them. They both have all kinds of nicknames, though. I had one kitty that went to the Rainbow Bridge last year - she was a beautiful Tortie…

Love it! Getting ready to go to a class in a little bit
