42 and no kids. Love my life!

I've started it several times and never made it past week 4 :embarassed: I have bad asthma and it seems like week 4 is my breathing limit. Not sure why. I can ride a bike for hours at a time, elliptical for an hour, walking for days (yes, exaggerating) but I start jogging and my lungs want to explode. I've had the same…

I'm currently #1 in my pool!! I'm sure that will not last very long, though! :drinker:

Doughnuts. Without a doubt, doughnuts. I seriously cannot go into a Dunkin Donuts without eating them. It's horrible!
-
Wow! Great job!! Keep up the good work!

I couldn't have said this any better myself!!! I am grateful to have you in my corner!!!! :flowerforyou:

I have a Garmin Forerunner 110 with the chest strap. Absolutely love it! I wear it every time I go to the gym or out for a walk/run/bike ride.
-
great progress!! Keep up the good work!

Lifting two 14 lb cats off my lap just so I can get up and get out of the house??

awesome feeling, isn't it?? Great job!! Someone suggested Goodwill - i'd also say any thrift store or consignment shop are good places to go. Keep up the good work

I work FT and 2 PT jobs also. I tend to take "snacky" type things in the car when I'm on the road (for my FT job) - almonds, hard boiled eggs, cut up fruit or veggies, laughing cow cheese wedges, string cheese, granola bars. I keep them in an insulated lunch bag with ice packs and plenty of water. They're easy to eat while…

Great song! Although my favorite version is by Jon Bon Jovi. I get goosebumps every time!!

You go girl! Rock that booty! I'm also blessed with lots of curves - my goal is to just get them to jiggle a bit less!! :)

So far have only deleted (and blocked) one creepy dude. Am thinking I may have to do a clean up soon, though, there's more drama on here than FB sometimes. It's so distracting to have all that crap on my newsfeed.

Because I fell down the steps many many years ago and apparently looked like a Slinky toy. The nickname Slinky just stuck and I started using it for everything, only that spelling was taken so I changed it to Slinkee. It evolved into IMSLINKEE (I'm Slinkee) and has just stuck ever since.

Amazing!! I just sent a request to join your FB group too :flowerforyou:

I'm the exact opposite. I HATE working out with other people. My gym time is my zone out time. I don't even like going for walks at the park with people (when the purpose of the walk is to get some cardio done in the fresh air). I've had several friends say "oh, you're walking? Call me, I'll come along" Yeah, ok, I'll get…

I'm 5'4 and currently 182 (started at 205, this time). My goal is roughly 150ish. I'm more concerned with how I look, than I am with the number on the scale. I am curvy and want to stay that way. I just would prefer that my curves not jiggle quite as much! I picked 150 to just have a goal in my head because I remember back…

I am also in love with my HRM. I got a Garmin Forerunner 110 because I also wanted the GPS feature for my outdoor activities. I've found that MFP and the machines at the gym have been, for the most part, overestimating my calorie burn. The Zumba calculator website was also off. Amazingly, I've been doing ok with the wrong…

WAIT!!!!!! This post is supposed to be funny??? CRAP! I was taking notes and getting ready to revamp my entire program based on all of the amazing information and ideas. :explode:

This!! I have really bad asthma and allergies. Don't get me wrong, I love being outside, but when Mother Nature isn't cooperating, I'm in the gym or in my basement on my elliptical or treadmill.
-
None!! Although I haven't had a Pop Tart since I started MFP and going to the gym. I think I'm just annoyed that a "serving" is only one Pop Tart. Who eats just one Pop Tart? There are two in the package for a reason. *sigh* :ohwell:

Usually nothing....once my earbuds go in and the music goes on, my mind just goes blank. I love it!!
-
45 minutes of Zumba and then 30 minutes on elliptical

The cardio equipment at my gym is compatible with Polar HRMs. During my one training session, my PT had me strap on their HRM and jump on the equipment - and it synced right up. Could be a similar situation at your gym. OR, it could just be that the HRM on the treadmill was out of whack and going crazy all by itself…

I've been down this road so many times. This time feels different to me. I'm not sure how, I'm not sure why, but it just feels different. I joined MFP last year and never used it. In April of this year, I started using it again - and quickly fell off the wagon at Easter. Then, at the beginning of May, a bunch of my friends…
