I do this and LOVE it. I do 3-5 days (different each time) eating my 1200 calories as recommended on here, then I do 1400 for one day, then 1600 for one day and then start the process again. I have lost 5lb doing it but more importantly to me, I feel great. I have more energy and motivation to keep going with it

Sorry did the BMR on my stats and came out a lot lower, was just using the -500 method suggested
-
I am not sure deducting 500 from your BMR is correct - according to that method I should only be eating 869 calories a day which is far too low I don't personally do this but are you eating back your exercise calories? For some people this works. I count what I eat not what I need but this site will give you a net calorie…

I am (holds my hands up) a protein shake lover. I zigzag my diet (between 1200 and 1600 calories) and do turn to the protein shakes when I need to boost my calories. Today's was Maximuscle - Maxi-Milk High Protein (Chocolate), 330 ml which is 208 calories, 30g protein and 20g carbs :)

This would be great as I have 5lb left to loose and to do in in August will be perfect as getting married in September :)

You can expect a few different answers to this one - we all have our own opinions I'm afraid, no set answer
-
I would write it off - you had a day off so let it go and move on. If I was 20 minutes late for work on monday, I wouldn't then get there 5 minutes early for the rest of the week so I was on average on time. We are all allowed a treat now and then - look back and think how much you enjoyed the day and move on with your…

Saying that, confidence is the most attractive feature in a woman - if she feels good then that will show no matter how big ro small she is
-
Oh what a can of worms this question always opens lol
-
I know my man prefers some curves - he says it's womanly. i am hour glass figure - bigger hips, smaller waist and although I want to slim down I wouldn't want to change my shape and be a bag of bones

Nope, I don't go on NET, I go on what I consume. But it is how I PERSONALLY do it, not what I am saying everyone should do.
-
It's a hard road to come off but I believe (even though I have't got there yet) that it is possible to walk a different path - it just takes time and a hell of a lot of suport
-
I PERSONALLY do not eat back the calories I burn - I zigzag my eating between the 1200 and 1600 calories but do not eat back the calories I burn through exercise. I follow this belief, quote "You should not consume less than 1200 calories per day if you are dieting for extended periods. Diets which are less than 1200…

I think it is very hard for people who don't have it or don't have dealings with it to understand, after all, eating and drinking is basic survival techniques that we are born with.
-
It takes time and support from others - I usually just have a coffee when out with my kids for lunch. It's not something that you can 'just get over' like people with no knowledge may suggest :)

Hi there - for about 15 years I have suffered from Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) which has lead to 'social phobia' and stems from a fear of being judged by others - I believe that people judge me and think what a fat mare for eating that sandwich.

What you are already doing - the laundry, cleaning, walking etc... how about put some more energy into it? Put some music on when you are doing the house work and dance along to it whilst you clean, how about walking quicker, to increase your heart rate or use the weights that you can strap to your ankles to make ti harder…

Yes you need to enter when you exercise :)

This is a great site - I found it when googling how many calroies jogging on the spot burnt.. I have lost 9lb so far which I wouldnt have done without the support from the site and the people on it - feel free to add me

It depends on how your relationship is with him - if it's strained and not going anywhere, then get shot as you need positive people around you. However, if you relationship is usually good and it's a long term thing, I suggest you simply smile at him, say you understand that he loves you the way you are but this is…

Way to go!! 10lb in 5 weeks is a good healthy weight loss. I am at 8lb and can't wait to hit the 10lb mark!!
-
Feel free to add me - I work from home to be with my kids and am logged on a lot :)

I totally understand. This past weekend Mr wanted to go away in the caraven for the weekend with all the kids. It's not really my kind of thing but does involve lots of walking which is good. Friday night I was hit with a flu virus so wasn't feeling like it at all. Anyway, not feeling like cooking he went and brought FISH…

I don't think this is very encouraging - we are all meant to support each other. My partner drinks protein drinks, once in morning and once after he has trained but when he started I had to ask why he did it, if it actually did any good etc. It's not something you naturally know
-
i make home made meals most of time and have pain stakingly sat for half an hour and worked out what was in it ie cals carbs protein etc by putting the individual items into database and adding it all together. I then weigh it out and put it in tubs to take with my so i know just what i'm having

You need to eat more without a doubt - plan healthy food that if you 'haven't got time' yuo can pull out of your bag and eat when you sit down. Like someone else said - we are all busy. I have two kids, two step kids, my own business and my up and coming wedding to sort out but I know I won't do any of it well if i don't…
-
I would recommend this - I zigzag but in no real planned way - my partner also does it but for weight gain as he body builds an he does random days so I just sort of follow him, I'll do a few days at 1200, then one 1400 then one at 1600 and then so many at 1200 again - I lost 3lbs in the first 2 weeks doing that so stick…

I have started eating crispbreads - only 16 calories per slice and put somethig on them like sliced banana or grapes, or tuna and lettuce?
