5:2 eater here and I LOVE it - really works for me. No headaches or other ill feelings on fasting days - between 1200 and 1500 5 days a week and 500 for for 2 random days. I actually plan my days round my life - if I know I am going to be out for lunch then I obviously won't fast on that day. I am loosing the weight and…

I am currently doing this one on day 8 which is rest. I struggled to do 10 before but really enjoy it now.

OK.... I know this is going to get moaned at however this is me and how I chose to do it. I work on the 5:2 diet.... 5 days eating well and 2 random days a week fasting at 500 calories - on those 2 days I have negative net calories. I don't feel light headed, sick, tired or any of that nonsense. I still work out just as…

Hello there. I was in this place for about 6 years (even through 2 pregnancies which thankfully turned out ok) but have been in a better place for about 3 years. It is tough - I still battle with food and how I look. I have lost 21lb since Jan 1st and everyone says how much better I look but I can;t see it myself (I have…

Agreed - I don't let my children eat there as I want to know exactly what I'm feeding them.

I used to work in a secondary school here in the UK and they hated my tattoos. I can't quite cover the roses on my neck with a shirt and I refused to take my nose ring out as it didnt effect my job as a manager. The school thought it was a bad example to set to the students.

I'm not a guy but I think size is all in proportion. A size 4 on a 5ft girl is going to look very different to a size 4 on a 5ft11 girl surely?

One way to find out :)

Im doing it but I have been doing around 30 a day for the past two weeks and I can notice a difference in my jeans :)

I do this and find it really great. I dont mind my low days as I find food with a real low calorie content - I ate a tin of pineapple throughout the day yesterday snacking which was only just over 100 calories (pineapple also has a huge amount of health benefits including fibre!) but I did hit my 500 throughout the day…

If this is true... why does your diary contain eggs for breakfast??

Gluten free here since Jan 1st. I am not sure it's contributed much to weight lose but I did get shot of the bloated feeling and look very quickly. Celiacs disease here too so had no choice but I do feel better :)

Determination goes a long way :)

It WILL go - I have had 3 kids, the last 11 months ago and finally mine is almost gone. I found out I have celiacs disease and so cut out all wheat and gluten which helped a lot. I do a lot of zigzag dieting which speeds up my motabalism and strength training. I use HIT exercise which really works for me.

I never thought I would read a story that I can relate to quite so much. My mother always bullied me as a child - like you it hurt far more than the school kids. I was a chubby child but I didn't get the support - just smart remarks. I remember on numerous occasions standing in front of the mirror trying on new clothes and…

I REALLY struggle with hunger - I have not friends with food for years! I find it is a case of forcing myself to get into a routine. I don't think I will ever be a breakfast person (tut tut, slap on the hand) but I do try and eat as I know my body needs it to function :)
