First off, you sound A LOT like me, getting way upset over a little look you get from someone. I'm still learning that, in fact, they might NOT intend to hurt my feelings, but since my feelings are so easily hurt, I'm trying to get stronger anyway! Getting healthy is a great way to boost your self-confidence. Learn to love…

Take her to the doctor to find out if she has early-onset Alzheimer's.

It depends on if your problem is really binge eating or just the weekends. If it's binge eating, I find that right before I'm about to reach for something, if I can take a deep breath and really be present in the moment, I can stop myself. Just be aware of your breath and take a calm look around. Do you really need to eat…

I just "y'all"ed in a post, lol. It's a contraction of "you all". I liken it to the Romance languages' plural "you", such as "vous" in French. However, I'm from Shreveport, which means there are plenty of people who say "y'all all" as the plural "you". Yes, as in "y'all all gotta try this gumbo" or "all y'alll have a beer…

I mix mine with yellow mustard and red wine vinegar, or dijon mustard and balsamic vinegar if I'm feeling decadent. Also really good: http://www.food.com/recipe/chickpea-and-tuna-salad-172858 but you don't need the olive oil, and you can use less chickpeas and throw in a yellow or orange bell pepper as well.

My tried-and-true advice is this: only weigh in once a week! I typically weigh in on Tuesday mornings before breakfast to get a true picture of what I've lost or gained the week before. Weighing every day could really be hurting your will-power. I bet that when you see you've lost 4 pounds by Friday, you fall of your meal…

I would say to get the chicken tortilla soup, without the tortilla strips and cheese. Chicken soup is tasty and filling without costing too many calories. I have found that fajitas, while better than other options, are STILL way over the top, especially because they come out all oily. And whatever you do, DON'T EAT THE…

Oh man, that is so awful! I've been there, too, with the politely refusing cookies and soda and eating ALL THE VEGETABLES as soon as they're served. It is tough, especially with family and while traveling, but try to keep a snack handy that will keep you from shaking and that you won't feel bad about eating! It's better to…

I also just started juicing, but I haven't found it to be filling enough to replace a meal. I just supplement my diet with it, and I think it encourages me to make better food choices. I'd recommend having vegetable juice, especially the Mean Green to, you know, "cleanse", but I don't think this sounds like a plan for…

The trick is to use frozen fruit so you don't have to put in ice. You can get big bags of frozen fruit at Target, and I get organic bananas (they do taste better) and cut them up and freeze them myself. I also discovered that you can save calories using unsweetened almond milk, and the smoothie turns out sweet enough just…

Anyone TALL out there? Ht: 5'11" Age: 23 SW- 180 CW- 148 GW- 135 Slightly complicating: I reached my goal but had some backslide recently :( Still, anyone around my height/age to talk to would be great!

I've had trouble with this, too. I felt my body sort of coasting into my goal weight, naturally wanting to eat a hundred or so more calories than MFP was telling me, and then one day I woke up and was UNDER my goal weight! It was actually a little scary. So I'd recommend starting to slow down sooner, and maybe look at…
