Sleep, water, food!! Feel deprived of all of these during Ramadan but somehow manage it every year :) Last year i tried to eat healthily and exercise about 1/2 an hour just before the end of fast. AA!! Here in the UK fasting will be from about 3am to 9pm!! Last year i tried to avoid fried foods at iftar. Although i wasn't successful throughout the 30 days. I aimed to have plenty of water and fruit followed by a main meal instead of lots snacks for iftar and forced myself to have a breakfast at sahoor. As for…

Jensbran, my story is very similar to yours. I seem to have this addiction to food (sweet, carbs, junk) and i always manage for a about a week and then lose complete control. i don't have any answers as yet but we'll get there eventually! :) The tips from the others are worth trying.

i have to admit i don't have any water before exercising but drink at least 1.5 litres (about 6 cups) during and just after. I'll give it a try. thanks!!

Firstly, thanks for replying!! i havent heard of cliff bars here in the uk but i'm willing to give the peanut butter and maybe greek yogurt a try. Thanks again for the tips.:smile:

I'm sure you can buy all the seperate items in your supermarket. I know Asda has a good snacks (japanese crackers, nuts, seeds, dried fruit etc) selection.
