I started doing Level 1 (again) this week. I am in. I am on Level 1 but only on day 3. I've been using 5lb weights. There is one excercise I change to 3 lbs (where you lift your arms eye level while doing the side lunge). Ugh! It's hard with weights. I get bored with workouts, so I am hoping I can stick with for 30 days. I…

Hi everyone! I've just started the 30DS and won't be finished until mid-August. Maybe I can do both. I was going to do the Ripped in 30 after this. I will check to see which videos I have of hers. Too many are collecting dust! Thanks for posting!

You look fantastic!!! Great job. This is so motivating. I am embarrased to say how long I have had this DVD. I wasn't able to make it all the way through workout 1. This week I have down it twice so far, and make it all the way through. I just started it this week and now that I have seen results I am going to finish it.…

Did it mention how they lost the weight?

Welcome to MFP. First, you need friends on here because all we do all day is motivate each other. Please add me! Next, you have to want change, really want it. I would work out, eat right for weeks on end and then slip off wagon. Right now, I want it so bad that I am not letting anything get in the way. Start slow. Begin…

Great story "Donotstopnow" and glad you're back! I am also planning on hitting the gym first thing tomorrow morning, so there isn't anything getting in my way later in the day. Hopefully, I can get my hubby to join me. He will push me hard! Good luck everyone and let's make Saturday's triple day AWESOME!!!

I've gotten that too and I ignore it. I don't eat unless I am hungry.
-
Great job!! That is awesome. You mentioned you thought you were eating right before MFP, can you tell us what changes you have made that has helped?

Hi, I understand your frustration and having been going through the same similar things. The advice I've been given and the things I had read and learned are these: Drink a lot of water. When weighing yourself take into consideration if you have recently had a good, long, hard workout or even if it is TOM. You may have…

Hello fellow Knotty Girl teammate - Better shoes will make a difference. You will surprise yourself when it comes time to run without breaks. Just keep your pace and don't try to run too fast. This is from our fellow runners on here and it's great advice I took and it worked. You are doing awesome, keep it up!!!

Finished W7D1 this morning! I think I am finally getting the hang of breathing now. I even added a couple of minutes at 2 different times where I increased my speed. Then I ended up walking a mile after the run was completed. I guess I just had a burst of energy this morning. Where is everyone else? Have they completed the…

500 so far for today!! I'm going to try to get in another workout this evening! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. Oh and to the yellow submarine chicky - I DON"T THINK SO!!!!! Y'all going down!!!! ;-)

Where is everyone? I don't see as many posts as before. I fell a little behind due to vacation! I completed week 6 on Sunday and admit I wasn't looking forward to the 25 minute run without any breaks, but I plowed through. The last 4 minutes were a little tough. Looking ahead to weeks 7, 8, and 9 without breaks, oh my, I…

555 calories burned for today! I'll let you know if I get any other workouts in. I'm feeling pretty sluggish today and it's super hot! Have a great day everyone!
-
Thank you for detailing out Sunday's rules. Should we see how many of us can commit to working out? Maybe we go with 7000 to be on the safe side. I don't think we should play it too safe. We need to kick it up and do some serious burns. I'm taking today off and hitting the gym tomorrow hard. Great job everyone on their…

If you are doing strength training then you are gaining muscle and this is a good thing. I agree with everyone to change your goal to .5 lbs per week and definitely rethink your goal. Toning requires strength training and you will gain muscle that will also show up as weight gain or no weight loss. Take measurements,…

Okay, I'm ready to kick butt!! So 8000 is 534 per person. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!
-
Nicole, you are going to love your HRM. A fellow rowing teammate recommended hers and I have been so happy with it. It is great knowing exactly what you are burning.
-
I still don't have it correct do I? Wow I am usually pretty computer savvy. Not this time. Sorry I am being a pain.

The Sunday challenge sounds great. We are betting how many calories we will burn and it will also need to bemore than the boat we are paired with. Hmmmm a little tricky!
