Thanks everyone, you are right. I should make a meal for everyone to model healthy eating. Now that the kids are getting older (well oldest is 8), I have been getting out of the nuggets and mac n cheese rut, and making meals for everyone. I found it strange when I put on my workout today that it pushed up my calories allowed to 400 extra! I think I will just stick to the calories that it suggested at the beginning. Why put in the same calories that you just worked so hard to burn off?
