I check in once in a while since it's been quiet. Howdy y'all.

How charming of him, ugh. Sorry.

I couldn't agree more!

I use Charity Miles, but find the app often crashes on my phone, defeating the purpose, so definitely going to check this one out! My pup and I walk 2-4 miles daily, more on weekends. It's my favorite time of the day <3

Yes, absolutely! Owning a dog is a commitment and part of that is keeping him or her healthy! Walks are a necessary part of that, and they keep you healthy and active too. There are a few minor exceptions (awful weather, sickness, etc.) but I get my dog out for a minimum of two 30 minute walks per day (usually much longer)…

INFP You’re single because: You idealize the crap out of potential partners and then get upset when their reality doesn’t measure up. You’ll get into a relationship when: You meet someone who also wants the rest of his or her life to resemble a Nicholas Sparks novel. :o B) :p :| :/ :( :'( <-the stages of denial I just went…

Single and never. Anyone here want to change that?
-
Now I'm flattered  Boston, kinda far :(
-
Yes, to date you ;)
-
well hello ;)
-
@flrancho - I don't believe anyone here told you to fundamentally change who you are. We were simply suggesting very minors things, like smiling, that make ALL humans more approachable (because that is the first hurdle to meeting someone!). It's totally fine if you don't want advice or suggestions and are set in your…

Hahaha, you crack me up! ;)

I'm sorry someone was so rude to you, that's never necessary. I can only speak from personal experience, but in my 30s I have encountered a lot of guys online (including apps like Tinder when I say online) who lie about their ages either because they want to feel younger (usually 50+) or (often 20-25) who want an older…

I've been single for several years now too, so I can totally relate. Just giving you my two cents on what I do to cope.
-
This! So many of them say it's ok, but deep down most (not all) don't really like it IMO.
-
Yes, it can be a tough time of year. It's important to keep busy though, makes it much more tolerable.
-
@standenvernet - Yes, I understand what you're saying. I think my 'doesn't end well' was a bit more flip meaning in the moment than a prolonged dating scenario. At the same time, it is (slightly) reassuring to know that men have some of the same fears because often times you all seem so aloof. Lol

Flim -- I didn't take any of that personally. I've seen you post here enough to know you had more to say behind that originally statement and I was curious. I get exactly what you are saying and agree with almost all of it. However, I do take some exception to making the first approach in regard to dating. My personal…

As both a woman and an introvert, I'd really like for you to expand on this in concrete terms. Yes, I'm on dating sites and yes I go about my life, do things I enjoy, am out and about in public, meet up with friends, etc. (the typical advice one gets when single...). I don't consider myself 'waiting for it to happen', but…

Guys ghost like that too, just so you don't get the wrong idea...

Welcome to Peeps, great job so far!

Actually, Sean annoyed me much more than she did! He used work as an excuse not to spend time and even waited until the last week to mention a promotion he'd been working toward for years. Yes, her response was curt, but I think her frustration was mostly due to him pulling away and not being honest about why. Spoiler ...…

And... sparks??? ;)

Crazy but totally real! http://www.fyi.tv/shows/married-at-first-sight

So interesting because I was thinking the exact opposite. Why force a divorce at 6 weeks (which I think is an arbitrary timeline just for the purpose of the TV show) if you think the spark is growing? Besides, I don't think most states allow divorce under 6 months so it would probably be legal limbo for a while anyway.…

I totally get it because I always feel guilty when I poof too. But sometimes it really is the best way out.

Welcome to Single Peeps!

I don't know the answer to this, but it is an interesting question. I used to drink soda then stopped. I started taking probiotics several months ago. Just this past weekend I had some soda and my stomach was really off for a full day. I was actually wondering if the combo of the two was to blame or if I had simply become…

Most months I'm in the $120-150 range for just me. I try to focus on buying sale and in-season items when meal planning. Plus, I often make large batches of a meal and either eat it the entire week (which can get boring) or freeze things for later on.

I check in when I am able. Just don't feel like I have much to add these days.
