Calling it a cheat day makes me feel like i am doing something wrong..... I do engage in high calories days from time to time, but still try to make wise food choices and stay within my overall weekly calorie goal. I think a high calorie day every now and again is healthy for everyone:)

Sounds like your body is zapping your muscle tissue for fuel because it is not getting enough fuel from food calories.

I have a chest strap polar f4 HRM. 45 mins of turbo jam has given me readings between 415 and 452.....depending on how much i am putting into it. But you need to consider other factors like age/weight ect....

When you are less concerned with filling your closet with new career clothes that fit and instead focus on buying new workout clothes that fit..... and you inquire if the Gym is open on Christmas and ARE DISAPPOINTED WHEN THEY LOOK AT YOU LIKE YOU HAVE A 3RD EYE AND SAY NO!

It would be impossible for me to run errands after my workouts..... I stink so bad:) I always shower at the gym or immediately when I get home (I live 2 miles away). I also wear Nike base layers to help wick away moisture from down there. Good Luck!

Perhaps if they see their daughter succeed they will have to stop and take a good long look in the mirror at their own failures. I was raised a member of the "CLEAN PLATE CLUB!" I still struggle with this as an adult. On the bright side, my mom was a workout junkie and taught me a great deal about getting a good burn!

I have run three 5K's and will run my 4th this Saturday. I am NEVER embarrassed of my time. I am just happy to finish. My time has gotten progressivley better, but I still run about an 11.5 minute mile. Nobody judges you. There are people who will run it in under 18 minutes and people who will walk it in over 45…

I have the polar f4 and my only regret is not buying it sooner. The chest strap is comfortable. It only has been an issue in one class that has us on our stomachs a lot. You do have to wear the chest strap to get a HR read and calories burned. Well worth the money!!

You don't need leggings. It depends on how "sexy" you want to look. If you opt for leggings, keep them the color of the boots or of the dress. You don't want another shade of brown around your knees to break up your lines.

I don't typically log that either, but let me confess that yesterday I strapped on my HR monitor for some serious house cleaning and yard work.....and I did log 1/2 the time and 1/2 the calories. But your right....most days we need to be honest with ourselves if we want to lose!
