I'm a HUGE fan of SoulCycle! I usually go 1-2x a week. There was a point when I was doing 3-5x a week, but that was just soo expensive!

If I can breathe well, don't feel I am going to be contagious and get everyone there sick, and have the energy to go, then I go.

Sun: Libra Rising: Libra Moon: Taurus I am a VERY typical Libra! Very into the arts, music, and beauty. Needs balance in my life otherwise I don't feel myself. Very concerned with my image and appearance, and make an effort to always look good. Very honest, caring, and diplomatic. I am a great mediator and listen to all…

I don't tell anyone I know about MFP, because I don't really like airing out my private life to people I know. But strangers are fine.

My first piece of advice is to not surround yourself with people who bring you down. Not to mention, I really hope your son didn't hear any of that negative talk about you. That is not a good conversation to be having around children. I would really reconsider having this person in your life. Secondly, you are in charge of…

I prefer the more natural route. My favorite proteins are Tera's Whey Chocolate flavor and Garden of Life RAW Protein in Vanilla or Chocolate.

MyFitnessPal builds in a calorie deficit to your day, so if you cut additional calories, and don't eat your exercise calories back, you are not eating enough. It's okay to not eat all your exercise calories back, but you should try to eat at least 1/2 of them back. Also make sure you're never eating under 1200.

My mom has had probably about 3-4 FitBit's replaced over the past few years, once even from totally her error (she put it in the washing machine by accident!). They have excellent customer service. I'd give them a call and see if they can replace it.

I only use my FitBit for the steps as a way to motivate myself to walk more. I do not rely on it for an accurate amount of calories burned. I don't even wear it when I work out, actually!
-
Are you eating back your exercise calories?
-
I got to catch up with a friend I haven't seen in months and we saw "Frozen" together.

Welcome to MFP! :flowerforyou: I hope you find lots of success here!

No one should be telling the OP not to increase sodium. For all you guys know, her doctor could have told her this? Pre-packaged meals are high in sodium. I really like Amy's frozen burritos. They even make gluten and dairy free ones, and they're delicious.

Limit your meat and seafood, which are expensive. Eat a lot of beans and nuts for protein.
-
Just a tip... Most hotels will give you a mini fridge for your room if you tell them you have medication that needs to be refrigerated. Most will not charge for this.
-
Wow, that is very impressive for just a few months! Be very proud!

It's probably mostly water weight. Don't worry about it. Just get back into your usual workout and eating routine and I'm sure you'll get back to that size very soon. :flowerforyou:

This! My ads are about shoes (because I was just searching for shoes online).

It's actually in the exercise tracker for you to input as a workout. If you didn't shovel the whole time, maybe log the time as 2/3 of the time you were out there?
-
It will NOT make you bulk up, unless you're having way too much. I never have a protein smoothie more than once a day, some people have 2, and that's totally fine! Make sure you're also having enough fiber during the day and plenty of water. It is a myth that women "bulk up" from weight training and protein. Don't listen…

I've been on Facebook since it was for college/university students only, in 2004. I can never delete unless another social network takes over and everyone switches over to that, because it's the major way I keep in touch with my friends all of the world. I used to live in Europe and have a lot of international friends.…

I don't trust the calories burned on my FitBit. I just look at the step counter. When I workout, I wear a heart rate monitor, which gives a more accurate estimate of calories burned.

I bought a used Vitamix 2 years ago, and it's still going strong! Even the used models, if you buy directly from Vitamix, come with really long warranties. I don't use mine to make bread, but I do use it to make lots of smoothies, nut butter, and nut milks too.

I drink when I want to, and add the calories to my diary. In fact, I just had some vodka last night! Haha. This is a lifestyle, and you have to make it work for your life!
-
Bee pollen is a superfood and I've been wanting to buy some to add to smoothies and yogurt, but I would not trust any of the capsules aimed at people who want to lose weight...
-
Yes - and it's happening right now! Augh... I feel so huge, but good thing I know it's because it's that time.
-
I also say Native American!
-
It started as a joke, but I actually think a lot of people are into it now... Like the thigh gap. Stupid.
-
You can also log fitness, and when I'm really sick I don't work out... And I don't feel I should have to show "proof" of me being sick to an app to justify why I'm not working out. Just my opinion.

I don't eat a lot of greasy, fattening food, so it's not right for me. Good old fashioned healthy eating and exercise for me!
