Totally normal! I have spent the last ten years gaining 50, losing 60, gaining 70, losing 40... The times that I buckle down and grab my love handles by the horns, the first week or so is always the roughest~ especially if you are used to eating a lot of carbs and empty calories. Its all about retraining your body/cravings…

I too have acquired the taste for black coffee (took a little while) but every now and then I will add a quarter cup of Unsweetened Coconut Milk (10 calories) and a Truvia packet or drop of almond/vanilla extract if I feel the need to flavor/sweeten it.

I usually hit the grocery store once a week and see what is on sale for meat/veg, etc. On a budget, I usually plan my meals around that and most often eat the same thing twice that week (i.e. make dinner Monday night, stick half in the fridge and eat the other half Wed lunch or dinner).
