Yes, it won't kill you and unless you eat until you explode you shouldn't gain weight either. I often have to boost myself (about every two weeks or so) to remind the scale what it should be doing.

Loved these books: The Stand, The entire Dark Tower Series including the new book that I think is considered like book 4.5, It, 11/22/63, Under the Dome, Cell, Duma Key, Insomnia. Loved these movies: Pet Semetary, Cat's Eye, Cujo (cheesy, I know) & Silver Bullet.

I stalled out for a few weeks and then upped my calories just by 150 calories a day, and the weight loss picked up again, thankfully. Nothing extreme, but the way it was when I first started. I went from 1200 calories, losing 18 lbs in 6 weeks, lost nothing for two weeks, and just started with the 1350 calories last week…

I have tried the eating real foods thing, and it works for me most days. Some days I am honestly too busy to prepare and I go off the "real" food thing but I have definitely found that I am STUFFED eating hardly any calories on days I eat real. :)

My mom told me about that... she was on it (not sure why, she's always been thin-but I think it must have been cool!) in the 70's. She said the same thing, everybody lost weight and then people who lost the most ballooned back up to heavier than they started within months.

I listen to music, write, or call my mommy. :) Even being a mommy of my own 3 kids, my own mom is still my best outlet. My stomach is a mess from an eating disorder when I was younger, and even the smallest amount of alcohol is agonizing in there! I've lost touch with some friends because I don't want to party anymore, but it just isn't worth it to me. I also don't enjoy wasting those calories... I'd rather use empty calories elsewhere :)

I brush my teeth a LOT!! no, seriously. Anytime I've just had a bad day, especially, I brush my teeth as soon as I'm done eating calorically appropriate meals or snacks and then drink a huge glass of water. It helps. Also, the past few times I have neeed to lose weight (i.e. after having kids) I haven't been able to exercise vigorously.... I don't have the time. And just cutting calories and my regular activity has always been enough for a steady 2-4 lb weight loss a week, which is fine for me.

I love Tastefully Simple seasonings (not just because I sell it either, lol!) My favorites are the spicier ones... wahoo chili, fiesta party, southwest seasoning and rub! I just don't have the time to deal with the fresh ones, but I always have dried on hand.

Yes, tanning it hides it more. Supposedly the mederma for stretchmarks helps a bit too, but of course isn't an eraser. I haven't used it personally, would also love to see everyone else's answers.
