  • Oh my GOSH. I just did the fit test. I can't believe I finished! I didn't get high marks in some of the last few exercises, but holy crap, I'm so glad I finished. I'm dying right now and I'm exhausted, and I feel as though I am literally melting through my pores. Tomorrow begins a new day, and another workout. Ugh, this is…
  • I typically wake up around 6:45am, FALL out of bed and somehow manage to get clothing on and in the right directions, and then go straight to the gym. I'm there for around 1-1.5 hours, and I eat as soon as I get home. My breakfast after the gym is normally a protein-packed breakfast - generally fiber-packed bread with…
  • Women's UltraMega VitaPak from GNC. It's a pretty big pack filled with large vitamins... but when I take them, I feel so much better and crave less. Also, they make my urine really bright/neon, but I notice that it's more bright on days that I'm not drinking enough water (obviously). So drink PLENTY of water if you're…
  • Since you mentioned vitamins, I'll mention that I started taking my Women's Ultra Mega VitaPak from GNC again - it's packed with everything I could possibly miss out on. I crave less "crap" during the day and really only snack on almonds and fruit (sometimes with high-protein greek yogurt), and I'm more satisfied by my…
  • Is there an exercise routine that you're mixing in to all of this? If so, then switching that up a bit to compensate for the added calories (and just changing exercise) can help get you back on track, and generally helps with plateaus, too. :-)
  • Are you going someplace tropical (by mention of the drinks)? It would be both relaxing and fun to take an early morning walk each day along the beach, if there is one. The sand will provide resistance so you won't need to run as much. Just take a nice, long walk, and then find activities that also include plenty of walking…
  • Also, this^!! It definitely isn't as thick, but coming from someone that can't have dairy without taking pills (me! Lactose interolant), it's close enough and has the same flavors. Just a slightly different texture, which I'm okay with because I never liked how thick straight egg nog was, anyway.
  • You're welcome! And guess what? Starbucks already cuts their eggnog, whether you realize it or not - it's already been mixed with a lower calorie milk! It just SEEMS so thick and creamy because it has been steamed, so it picks up body from being aerated. :-) If you have the ability to buy a something to froth the eggnog…
  • A trick I learned while working at Starbucks: Cut the eggnog with non-fat milk - half (or even a quarter) nog, half (or three quarters) non-fat milk. The flavor will still be there, but it will be considerably less as far as calories go because you'll cut a lot of the fat out!
  • I'm not a smoker nor have I ever been, but I've read in numerous places (and was told once by a doctor) that taking multi vitamins CAN help certain cravings with foods. Most of the time when you're craving specific foods, it's because you're lacking a certain vitamin. I take a vitamin pack from GNC for active women. It's…
  • This helped me out - I was confused as to why it didn't add calories burnt for strength exercises, too! Thanks!
