It the water retention, you'll be fine when you're done with your menstruation period. It should all return to normal. Keep drinking lots of water and hammer down on the veggies though.

How do you not pop? I just thought of drinking one and a quarter milk jugs full of water and felt sick. (Though I do know that drinking it over a period of time is tolerable, ha.)

I LOVE pizza.... >.>

Also, I must say, just because I state what I believe, I truly do not mean that you should follow my attitude. Do what works for you. I'm just trying to help out those who feel that what they're currently doing isn't working for them. If you're happy in how you deal with life and the things in it, then don't change for…

Then you're fine. 8 cups is a benchmark, and as one member posted earlier, a glass of water probably contains anywhere from 2-3 cups of water. I'm sure you're fine. Different people need different amounts of everything, including water.

No. Your approach is not an opinion, it's more of an MO. How you enter a situation and counter outer stimuli. I believe that there are different ways to 'approach' different situations, and that the way to help sway the opinions of others is through tolerance, even though it may not be recepted. Life and attitude tends to…

I have not been trying to be offensive to you at all. While I found your posts out of line myself, I thought that you were free to voice your opinion, although I also believe that you should not include negativity at all. I am not criticizing you at all. I find it perfectly acceptable how you act and comment, I just don't…

Are you making much of a difference by having the same approach to this topic that they have? Accept waht is going on and you can personally deal with it. Help those around you accept it as well, and in time it will change. Rejecting public opinion will help nothing, and no one will improve.

I know families that have children with conditions that make their body weights fluctuate horribly, and they have to monitor their diets so strictly that it hardly allows for anything. An additional symptom is that they dislike the taste of plain water, so crystal light can be a healthy, low-cal lifesaver to them too!!

It all depends on how much you exercise daily. The main thing is that you are trying to flush out the impurities in your body. 8 Cups is the average of what's needed to maintain a good balance. I know it's gross, but a good indicator is that if your urine is anything far from clear, say, a dark yellow/orange colour, then…

While I may disagree about you criticizing others, I find that it is more of a defense towards existing criticism. You can't control anyone else, so why voice your opinion about how they should act? You are, in the end, no different than them. I am, however, pleased that you found the thread worth visiting so frequently,…

I will put on some foundation to even out the coloring in my face and perhaps some highlighting eye shadow so that I don't look like a ghost, so I know what you mean. :3

Instead of looking at those rolls as a disgusting part of yourself, see them as merely a part of yourself that you wish to change. Everyone everywhere should always be in a constant state of improvement. You are perfectly fine as you are and are just working for a different kind of perfect. Transitioning to the "new" you…

Obviously you have some premeditative hate towards criticism of those who are considered overweight. Please leave the emotion and anger out of motivation threads. It never conducts a good personal attitude for others.
-
Be careful please. ;^_^ I just wanted to give those who needed it motivation without offending any of those who believed the opposite I did. I don't want there to be much negativity here. We shouldn't criticize anyone, no matter what side of the spectrum they're on; no matter the spectrum.
-
Few people personally attacked you or yourself as a whole. It was just the idea that they disagreed with. By remarking about their disapproval, they voiced through their own concerns and insecurities that they seek help/motivation about. With any online topic, you will get both positive and negative feedback. No need to…

Well, I find it ridiculous, but if they need it to feel confident while working out, then by all means go at it. But, I might be concerned for when the eye liner streaks down your face with the sweat. ;^_^ Of course, some girls go there to pick up guys. So, I guess I can kind of understand what they're trying to do.…

Each person that goes there pays the same amount of money and therefore should feel the same amount of freedom and entitlement to be there.

LOL I love how true this is!!! They are so absorbed in watching who is around and who might be looking/ how they appear that they hardly notice anyone else.

One comment in that thread wouldn't have reached the people that needed to read it.

Pfft. Don't feel the need to hide. You're beautiful, just not the same beautiful as the stick figure working the elliptical. You're perfect as you are, and are just striving for another level of perfection. Think of it like trading up. As long as you're working on it, I don't think that anyone should feel embarassed about…

I think that any person who is working towards bettering themselves should be given our full support. I might not like it if some people wear certain clothing, but it is really my own opinion and therefore, I can keep it to myself. As long as they aren't breaking any rules, it's none of my business. (Not that it would…

Broil with lemmon and bell peppers sliced over top. Or, you can boil it in a variety of vegetable wraps, but I find those gross.

Only if you really want to do this! Yea! Let's go! *Begins playing "Eye of the Tiger" and takes off down the sidewalk, holding two 5lb weights.*

Thank you all so much! <3

Since exercising itself is a foreign concept, what is the difference between strength training and cardio? Is it just basic weightlifting or is there something more?

Please understand. Not all doctors take the time and mental commitment to look at each patient as a person. They tend to look at them as, for example, sims characters. They don't consider the mental connotation of certain words or actions and are instead just concerned with making your body better. They sometimes don't…
