You look absolutely fantastic - well done you!

LOL, me too!

You look absolutely fab, and what an inspirational video. Congratulations!

My cellulite has gone, as have the love handles on my back - and my bingo wings, for the most YAY! I have gaps between my legs when I stand up straight. But most importantly, my chondromalacia (knee problems) has cleared up a bit because my quads are stronger.

Funny that this has come up - I've had many people say it to me over the past week: 'I hope you're not going to lose any more', 'You look so skinny' etc. The only person who doesn't say it to me is my MFP buddy! I don't see it myself; still got a pear shape (saddlebags, big backside) As far as I'm concerned, as long as I'm…

Absolutely amazing - you look fantastic! I went out and bought my first ever bikini yesterday too - it's a great feeling :-)

There's no point in forcing yourself to eat things you don't like - you're an adult now, you can make your own choices, and eating should be a pleasure (not too much of one though lol, that's why we're all here!) not a chore. There are loads and loads of types of fruit and veg out there - why not try something you've never…

Hi Jane, Wow, I'm sorry that you're having a hard time with this :( My mother has a similar problem - she's on several medications, including one for epilepsy, and she's unable to lose weight. She's put it down to the epilepsy meds. Is there a chance you can change your meds (under your doc's supervision of course!)?

The people closest to you can be harsh some times but, as others have said, look at what you have acheived! I've lost the same amount of weight as you and I feel a million times better in myself, so if you are pleased and proud in yourself then carry that with you and ignore the negativity. I think you look absolutely…

Wow, lots of people with knee problems. It's tough, that's for sure. It sounds as if we all have different aches and pains with our knees, though - has anyone been recommended a steroid injection? So L3D4 and I managed it all the way through (except rock star jumps) without pausing the DVD. I was so pleased with myself…

Level 2 is definitely tough on the knees (not as much as L1 though) but I found that if I used my glutes and hamstrings to take the burn (rather than my knees) I could manage. Keep at it, it gets easier I promise. I'm on L3D3 and managed to do it without a rest (although I can't do rock star jumps so I do extra buttkicks)…

What a lovely thing to hear - congrats!

Have got to agree - I was never short of suitors at my highest weight (17 stone) Now, at 11 stone, I'm not finding it easy to meet men. In fact, a lot of the men I meet prefer very curvaceous - even obese - women. Horses for courses :o) I'm happier in myself now, so that's what counts.

I definitely found that the 30 Day Shred helped; not necessarily to lose weight (although I did) but I went from a size 16 (UK) to size 12 (UK) after completing Level 2. It is hard work, but don't torture yourself if you can't manage all of the moves - I didn't! Good luck.

Just started Level 3 - holy moly, that part where you are in plank and have to go down onto your elbows and back up again...I had to do the adaptation. I like it though as it's easier on the knees. Hope all of you other Level 3-ers are coping! (I use 3lb weights; more than enough for me!)

Indeed - without alcohol there would be no karaoke :o) I used to drink a lot, because I loved the taste and the sugariness more than feeling drunk - hence why I am on MFP...all those empty calories. As someone else said, though, a good red wine with a steak is a wonder; the flavours just go so well together. Life should be…

Hello fellow shredders :o) I'm 10 days into L2 and for the first time today I didn't need to towel myself down in between circuits (sorry, TMI!) It's sweaty work! I still find the chair squats with V-raise/military press combination a killer; am wobbling about all over the place for most of that 2 mins. I've said it…

Hi Amber and welcome! Your holiday sounds like a great incentive :o) I'm a week into Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred and I have to say that it really works (since I started it 2 weeks ago I have dropped 2 dress sizes; can't put that down to the diet as I've been on MFP for 11 weeks!) I always swore that I would never use a…

Very best of luck to you! Cutting out the booze really does help.
-
LOL - I have the same problem! Jeans too big, belt doesn't have enough notches. Happy days!
-
Lol - thanks all, I laughed so hard at some of these, esp the microwaved Cool Whip and all the cake confessions! My downfall was refried bean burritos - I could eat a tin of refried beans and 8 tortillas in a sitting. My poor digestive system :o(

Looking fantastic - and years younger - congratulations!
-
I used to love Marmite and piccalilli sandwiches when I was younger - can't think of anything more revolting now. Having said that, I ate fish sticks by the pound until I joined MFP - I miss them!
-
You look fabulous, Tami; you should be so very proud of yourself. Amazing job!
-
I've just started Level 2; thought I was physically fit enough to sail through L1 but - wow - Jillian is a hard taskmaster!! I found L1 quite tough on my knees; thankfully L2 is not quite as hard on the joints, but it's challenging nonetheless. Still, can't complain - I've dropped at least 2 dress sizes since I started on…

You've been a real inspiration to me, missus, having read many of your archived posts. You've done so brilliantly, with great humour and wisdom and have helped so many people on MFP. Pick yourself up and start again.

Hi Mike I think most UK digital scales can display in lbs and stones (and mine does kg as well) Non-digital scales are mainly in stones. I can only speak for myself, but I use pounds now. Hope this helps. Thanks for a fabulous site, by the way. Can't wait for the offline app :o)

Week 2 - 166.8. I did get down to 165.8 but decided not to overdo it this week and had a cheat day!

Hi there, fellow tea afficianado! I use the 'PG tips - dash of semi-skimmed milk' option which is 20 cals. The one you've picked out does seem rather high!
