Wow, what an amazing group of people on this thread! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: Personally, I follow Buddhist philosophies but am always open to learning about other's beliefs. I feel that, the truly important thing, is being kind to one another and respecting all around us.

Grrr...why can't I post an image?! If we treated others as poorly as we treat ourselves, we would not have any friends...

Try using natural flavor enhancers such as berries, lemon juice or cucumbers.

Welcome to MFP! I have crohn's disease and a few food sensitivities/allergies, as well. As the above poster stated, there is a great gluten-free group here that I highly recommend. If you would like to add me, feel free - I am always open to sharing ideas and recipes. Best of luck to you and your partner on this journey!

Great thread! I am going to a 4 day convention in a couple of weeks and, being gluten/dairy free, will need to bring a lot of my own food as the options available at the venue will not sit well with my digestive system. I will be trolling here for more great ideas! Here's one I found the other day... Homemade Granola Bars…

I LOVE my chiropractor! For years, I suffered horrible back aches and headaches. Did massage therapy once a month for a while, which helped; then it had to be twice a month, so on and so forth. Got a referral for a free X-ray and consult with a chiropractor from a friend and decided what the heck, the only other option was…

Let's see, the #1 offender would be ice cream/custard for two reasons, one being the calories (duh) and two being I am lactose intolerant. Other than that, bacon, chocolate, burgers, beer, bacon, cake/frosting, cookies, bacon. I think that about covers it...Oh, did I forget to mention BACON?

I am on my second one and LOVE IT!!! Other than the pain experienced at both insertions (I have never had kids which I am told makes a difference), I have not had any cramping or other pain from it. Not getting my monthly has been a dream especially since I perform every weekend for 9 weeks of the summer at a Renaissance…

First - don't give up!!! Seriously, this is just a small stepping stone on your way to total wellness. Second - keep doing what you're doing with your diet/exercise and, as someone else mentioned, try adding some strength training and yoga. I am a HUGE advocate of the effects of yoga on depression & anxiety as I was able…
