@RaquelFit2 Honestly, the wake-up call for me was the saying "Choose your hard." Everything is hard. Being overweight is hard. Being fit is hard. But we can CHOOSE our hard. :) Also, there is no finish line! Everyone is different. Progress is progress, no matter how long it takes to get there.

I have about 30 lb to lose also! I am 5'5" and 169 lb. I have been in graduate school over the past two years (stressed out of my mind) and gained a lot of weight. I now have a steady job and am thinking about having children soon, so I want to get to a healthy weight before then. :smile:

Well whenever I exercise I eat back the calories I burn. That is just what I have my daily calorie goal set to.
