  • You are more than welcome to add me. :)
  • I think you are doing ok. 17 pounds is 6 weeks is a nice steady decline. Like GBrady said though you probably want to be around 1600 calories. That's where I was when I was trying to burn fat.
  • You can do this! If you have any fitness questions feel free to ask me. I'd be happy to help any way I can.
  • "Put the cookie down! Now!" Arnold Schwarzenegger But this is something I wrote yesterday in my challenge group. Greatness is built upon the smallest of habits. It stems from going against the tide even when you don't want too. It's hard, and sometimes you get pulled into the ocean... but don't forget you can get back to…
  • Welcome back! I know some people who have had great results with T25. I hope you are well enough to start in may.. :)
  • Drink water before you eat, it will fill your stomach a big so you feel full sooner. One thing I do is I plan and cook all my meals for the week on sundays. that way I know exactly how many calories I'm getting every day. Then you just have to practice restraint when tempted by bad things.
  • Chicken, Eggs, whole grains, fresh veggies, protein bars, Kaizen protein powder (costco/sam's club) Shakeology, banana's, oikos greek yogurt, almonds, peanut butter... and occasionally some air popped popcorn with olive oil and sea salt for a treat.
  • More than welcome to add me too. Always happy to have more friends. :)
  • I post my workouts every single day (modified, beast mode, or anything in between) If you got the drive, you can get the results. Greatness is bred from consistency. You got what it takes? :)
  • Welcome! 10% is a great starting goal! if you need any advice there are lots of people on here who can help out. Feel free to send me a friends request if you like.

  • Welcome! MFP is a great place to learn about how you are nourishing your body. It's also really good for motivation.
  • I'm a beachbody coach, and I don't want to disappoint my team. I'm also studying to be a personal trainer, and have my first child on the way. Also I want to live forever :)
  • Weight can fluctuate a lot over a week depending on many factors. I would say hop on the scale at the same time (first thing in the morning before breakfast) on the same day (eg: saturdays) once a week or even every two weeks. that was you can see a trend over time without stressing about the day to day.
  • I started by cutting out garbage and nasty foods like pop and pizza. Take out was banned. It was good but the hard part was sticking with it. That's when I went hunting for a coach. (I was and am still doing beachbody programs) I was invited to a challenge group on facebook and with the help of the team I learned about…
  • Always happy help keep people going. Welcome to add me.
  • I've done a few beachbody programs (lost 64 pounds doing p90x and insanity hybrids) and now I'm doing X3 Classic. I'm just in month 1 rest week, if you want to drop me a friends request, that'd be awesome
  • after being on low cals for a long time, you body adjusts to it, it will take some time to adjust to the new amount of calories. Small increases here and there should be just fine as long as the length of time you were eating low calories didn't damage your metabolic system. (Low cal, low intensity exercise over a long…
  • Hey all, I'm Kris. I've managed to lose 64 lbs, now working on gaining a little and toning. Feel free to add me.
  • they way I stopped smoking was by reading Allan Carr's easy way to stop smoking. It's a bit repetitive but it really helped. I went into it total skeptic and not even trying to quit, read it over the course of 1 day... and by the time I finished the last chapter, I never touched a smoke again. I think you can pick up the…
  • Always happy to help out. Feel free to add me!
  • Welcome! Nice work on the 19! If you are looking to add some positive people to your friends list, feel free to add me.
  • Exactly What Amanda said. If you really want to work out while you are sick, keep it light. Your body is using a lot of energy to fight the illness and a hard workout can drain the tank and make you sicker longer.
  • Typically. reps vs weight give different results. More weight less reps will help with building more bulky muscle. More reps with less weight will build leaner muscle
  • You are welcome to add me. I've managed a solid 64 pound loss.
  • I don't ever see myself not using Shakeology. I can't possibly replace all the nutritional value with regular food. The sheer quantity of food I would have to consume is preposterous. Don't misunderstand though. shakeology is part of my plan. I eat 6 meals a day on a 50/30/20 split (bulking). I do the majority of my…
  • I didn't tell the OP to buy it. I'm just trying to show that it's not a protein shake. It's a common misconception. and yeah, I'm a coach. I lost 64 pounds using shakeology and doing P90X. I know that it works. As for the protein bars. you CAN make your own. It's fairly cheap but it's a lot of work. I recommend quest bars…
  • It's important to note that Shakeology is NOT a protein shake. It's an entire meal replacement. It's designed to act not only as a meal, but as a multivitamin as well. Yes, it has protein in it, but that's not what it is meant for. I have it for breakfast every day. Is it expensive? yeah, sure. but in my opinion, the…
