Yup, I did this yesterday actually. No wonder I gained all that weight!

This is so important. I imagine all the times I have eaten junk food that does absolutely nothing for my body, when I could have been eating an awesome nutritious food that helps my body out.

I'm 5'8 and I would say my "ultra" goal weight is 130. I've never been that thin though...so I don't know :P I'm just going with what looks/feels good to me.

I add honey to mine sometimes, most of the time I drink it plain.

My husband and I just started this week :) So exciting! I've lost about 25 lbs in the last four months, looking to lose about 10 more or so. I am dieting as I normally would, but I plan to stop trying to lose weight once I find out I'm pregnant. I've been on the NuvaRing for five years so I'm not counting on getting…

I have a cup of green tea after dinner. It helps with digestion/metabolism and gives me that extra energy kick I need to get through my workout.

I watch it, I am salt sensitive so eating too much of it causes my blood pressure to raise. In the past when I was eating horribly my blood pressure was elevated every time I went to the doctor (not by much, but I'm only 24 so it shouldn't be elevated at all). After I started eating right and cut out processed foods, I…

Listen to your body, if you're not hungry then don't eat. This has always worked for me.

I love quinoa, I make a batch of it on the weekends so I have it around to pack for lunches or have as a side dish with dinner. It's extremely filling, a great protein source and has a good bit of iron in it as well. I've never tried cooking it in broth, that sounds amazing!

Yum! I just started eating steel cut oats, so far I've been using only frozen fruit to sweeten it. I love pumpkin so I am definitely going to try this!

I totally agree with this. The nutrition in organic junk food is the same as in conventional junk food! Junk food is still junk food! I eat organic meat and dairy and in my opinion I find it much more flavorful. For that reason, I think it is worth the extra money spent.

I wear a size 8 and I'm 5'8/155lbs. My waist measurement is a 30 and my hips are a 38. I would probably wear a size 12 at 180lbs, that's when my 10's started to get tight and I decided to go on a diet.

Congrats! I think working out during pregnancy is so important, considering giving birth is the hardest workout a women will ever have!

See if you can find an eliptical at a used sports store or on craigslist. I got mine for $150, it's not super high tech but it gets the job done! My only complaint is I get bored with it and also the tips of my big toe get numb after 30 minutes.

I just started yesterday! About to do Day 2 even though I am so sore! My legs hurt the worst, but that's where I need to lose the most fat so I guess that's good!
-
I just starting taking it a few days ago. I didn't know it was good for your metabolism, I was taking it for heart health! Awesome!
-
I'm starting the 30 Day Shred tonight, I'm sure I will be SO sore tomorrow. I plan on taking a day off, or maybe going for a brisk walk or using my eliptical machine. We'll see how I feel :)

I tried it once and I didn't like it. It's probably one of those things you have to develop a taste for. I'd be willing to try it again, especially now that I've weaned my taste buds off sweet things.

I was addicted too but then my scale broke! So now to weigh myself, I have to use my WiiFit which isn't as convenient so I do it way less (probably 3-4 times a week in the mornings). I think of it as a blessing, and my husband keeps asking why I haven't returned the scale :P Also, I've learned to NEVER weigh myself at…

I take prenatal vitamins, chocolate calcium chews (I don't get enough calcium in my diet and they are yummy!) and fish oil. I take them after breakfast, I've never had a problem with nausea.

I'm 5'8 and I've lost 20 lbs on diet alone. I started at 178 and now I'm down to 156. I'm about 5lbs away from my 1st goal. Unfortunately, I've hit a big fat plateau so I'm going to start incorporating exercise in my life. I'm starting the 30 Day Shred tonight and I plan to start jogging now that it's cooling down a bit (I…

I have lost about 20 lbs in three months and I just now went down a pants size. I dropped a shirt size almost a month after I started my diet. My body hoards fat on my butt and thighs so it is the hardest to lose, and will probably be the last thing to go. I think that's why I haven't gone down several sizes, I'm losing…

This happens to me as well. I'm fair skinned, and after I get back from a work out my head looks like its going to explode, haha. The same thing happens after I have a few drinks :) I think it is genetic, the same thing happens to my cousin and she hates it too!

I drink both almond milk and organic 1% milk. I like to drink the almond milk as a dessert, because its so sweet (I get the vanilla kind). Organic milk tastes 1,000 times better than regular milk. It is expensive but I've been drinking it for about two years now and I'll never go back!

Good salmon is the best! Enjoy it! :)

5'8 156 lbs BMI: 23.7 Just dropped down to a size 8 in pants!! And I wear a medium in shirts.

Hang in there, you're almost done with your pregnancy. I don't know much about diabetes, but would eating more healthy carbs help if you are having problems with your blood sugar? Best of luck to you :)

Eggs and oatmeal keep me full for a really long time

My husband and I are looking to start TTC in November and I've been doing a ton of research. I've read the BMI range of 22-28 is best for conception. I've also read many stories of women losing weight and suddenly being able to get pregnant after months of trying. I would use your concern about your weight and age as…

Asparagus Baked potatoes (they are good with all the cheese, sour cream, butter, etc...but by then it's not good for you so what's the point?) Crab/Lobster (I am allergic)
