Agree, agree, agree! Your diet can directly help (or worsen) your condition. If you have Netflix check out the documentary section. There is a lot of information supporting eating clean, organic, non processed foods to help with the pain. Today can be a challenge, but keep pushing through and stay positive.

Try to deal with any food issues you have now... post op it is very hard to tackle them. Lower calories than coffee? Coffee is next to no calories. That is, unless you are loading it with cream and sugar. Try green tea with honey? Or switch to sugar free flavored creamer. I will never give up my coffee! LOL Nope, not happening! :drinker:

Great thread My list: RTD protein shakes (not food but I use them as meal replacements) Pistachios Beef jerky Lettuce Turkey Chicken Cheese Low carb mostly. I do eat veggies - love them - but not one in particular that I eat every day except lettuce.. What can I say, I like meat!

Well.. maybe I am the crazy one, but I was out a month. I ended up staying in the hospital for a week (complications). I took 2 weeks off from work and ended up taking one more week because I wasnt getting enough protein to think straight. Total 4 weeks off.

Protein shakes or the super shots (hate the taste but it is a quick 26 protein shot). I liek Atkins RTD shakes, and the Syntrax Nectars.
