  • Ohh Glad to see this thread brought back to life !! Just an FYI - you can Veganize almost any recipe. My favorites: vegan mac, vegan nuggets (Trader Joe's) and vegan loaded tacos.
  • Hi all !! New here and looking for new friends. I have done keto plans on and off for many years. Trying stay on track this time.
  • Pawoodhull - you brought up a good point; disproportionate body size. My upper arms still have skin that did not shrink and although I can wear a Medium in Juniors (WOAH right?) my arms won't fit properly. My tummy area is very small - maybe size 9 in Juniors or 6/8 in Ladies. My thighs, well those bad boys are still a…
  • I am Googling thigh-lifts now. I am so tired of surgery (especially elective surgery). I worry about not coming out of surgery or complications. There is serious guilt associated with me having more surgery. I can literally pull the skin up and see what a nice leg I have under there!! Yes, jeans make my thighs/bum area…
  • Hi there!! Had my baby girl on 4/11/14. Always looking for other moms to motivate me and for me to motivate. I was lucky to lose all the weight right after birth (17 lbs) but I got flabby due to being high risk (no exercise except walking). I am trying to get my muscle mass back. The numbers on the scale don't matter as…

  • I definitely have to heat my Quest bars up before eating. There are some pretty cool recipes that use Quest Bars. But listen, if you don't like them, don't eat them. Find a bar that you like and go with it. Forget popular opinion and use what is right for you and your goals.
  • Over two years out and I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the hospital for a week with complications but once released to go home was when my journey really began. I went home, laid on the couch in terrible pain, still having trouble drinking anything at all and tried to stay strong. The hardest part was…
  • Mine was just a couple months, but I didn't have to jump through hoops for my insurance. They saw a mass during the EGD and boom approved. It was so quick that I did not have time to even think. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. I do not regret having it done though. I love my sleeve. Totally changed my life!!…
  • Sorry to sound harsh but if you continue this line of thinking your journey is going to be rough. One cheat meal is not going to break you unless you just give up all together. Just like one trip to the gym doesn't make you "fit". Everything in moderation - that is a good saying because those who deprive themselves end up…
  • Yeah there were a few days early on when I couldn't eat... just couldn't hold anything down! I had genetic testing done, so we knew the gender around 11 weeks. We have a few names picked out, but like you will probably be the last minute decision! LOL Funny thing, I am really excited to get back into my work out routine. I…
  • 35 weeks here. Been on MFP for years though. Felt no need to stop tracking just because I was prego. In fact, I feel like tracking even better since being preggers. I have done great - 15lb gain and holding steady. I have been using Instagram in connection with MFP to really stay on top of things and motivated! What are…
  • I think it could work because it is based on portion control and CLEAN eating - not just eat whatever fits in the container type of junk food. PLUS the exercise plan is pretty intense (HIIT). Pretty sure the average person could do this on their own without the kit... but that is just my opinion. Edit: the containers can…
  • Can you buy the Sugar-Free version of your fav creamer and use Stevia (or other natural sugar)? I was heaping spoonfuls of sugar on top of creamer... I cut the extra sugar out... next is to switch to SF creamer and use my Stevia Raw instead. It takes time to adjust to the taste but you get use to it. :drinker:
  • Which reminds me... PSA to the ladies: Don't fall for the guy offering to give FREE protein injections. Fool me once.. shame on me. Fool me twice (and bring your friend..?).. shame on.. me? Yeah, no. Just no.
  • Because he cheated on me with some super hot chick. And didn't invite me. SMH.
  • *Raises Hand* Been there.. even worse when you are at your goal weight and a pic catches you at a bad angle... oh my Gawd! WOAH did I eat a small child? How is it that you took the one picture of me that makes me look like I gained 20 lbs?!?! And you posted it on FB.. then tagged my big @ss? Yeah pix can say a lot, but bad…
  • When I eat crappy, I feel crappy almost instantly. It is like my body knows that junk is not good. Then I have "Eater's Remorse"!! :embarassed:
  • But look at the numbers... obese women to gain 11+ lbs.. that really is not much. Your OB would say something if you were endangering your child by not gaining enough. I have gained very little... but through the ultrasounds they can see baby has gained plenty and is right on par with averages at this gestational age. On a…
  • Sending you a FR!! :flowerforyou:
  • LOL You've succeeded in making me drool!! :flowerforyou:
  • I think your friends / neighbors mean no harm. They probably wanted to ask but were not sure how to approach the topic. Many times this leads people to use humor (although sometimes crude). Try to take it as a compliment and not read into it so much. You look great - that is the ultimate point they are making!! I am 2…
  • Will you look at the thread count on that thing... Ermehgawd!
  • RAWR! He could be car-less for all I care. :drinker:
  • I am a worrier too.. LOL.. I was more concerned with sweating (the pores opening) and releasing that precious ink! I didn't spend all that money to look faded out too soon. Either way, sounds like you are good to go now. You should post pix!
  • Ohhhh every time I add to my half sleeve I have to skip too much arm work. The tugging on the healing skin is not fun. Usually a week is good for me but everyone is different.
  • Had an ED for years now and although it is mostly under control I still have my moments. Thanks to being prego, I crave ice chips. I binge on them. A lot!! Although my ice is only a replacement for foods, it keeps me in line. One of my fav binge items is dry cereal. I still eat it by the tons. I have to go out of my way to…
  • www.verticalsleevetalk.com ^^ I cannot tell people enough about that site. What you are experiencing is COMPLETELY normal. I promise. You will go through water weight gains, stalls (yes, stalls - for weeks at a time) and gains later on. But guess what, stick with your plan and you will be fine. There is nothing better than…
