hmm, I never thought about that....does the balance bar have sugar? usually I eat 3 fruits a day though......maybe my sugar is off? something I should consider, I think...thanks

my diet is low in sugar? aren't there natural sugars in fruits?

thanks all...my problem with some of the stuff, like the avacado only has about 5 g of fat...but I guess every bit helps, and maybe I should do more smaller food wiht fat (just more frequently)

I've heard a general rule of thumb is the "average" person burns about 100 calories for every mile that they move (whether it is running, walking, skipping, etc.).....

well the way I normally was wokring out was day splits Shoudlers one day (Presses, lateral raises, front raises, upright rows, shrugs) Back one day (Pullups, deadlifts, rowing machine, pulldowns) Chest (bench press, incline BP, wide weighted dips) Legs (squats, extensions, curls, calf raises, lunges) Bicep / tricep /…

Thanks all for the advice. The event went well. I scored a 486, the high score was 495, so I did pretty well! I just ate about 300 more calories than normal

there are 4 events with a 3 minute break between each event pull ups 3 min break leg ups 3 minute break 175 lb sprint 3 minute break 4.5 mile run the end

thanks, I guess the other thing I forgot to mention is that I have been losing weight along the way (trying to tie this event to weight loss for motivation as well)....however I think for tomorrow and thursday (event is at 2:00 Pm Thursday), I plan to eat about 300 or so extra calories than normal....

where are you in Afghanistan? I was in Bagram, Kandahar, and Kabul and the DFAC was pretty accessible at all those places......why are you stuck at your desk for 12 hours str8? what do you do if you have to go to the bathroom or if you have co-workers that smoke how do they take a smoke break? from my experience I find it…

where are you in Afghanistan? when I was there you could pretty much take what you wanted and take a to-go plate too many o' times I left the dining facility with apples and stuff in a carry out or in my pocket I would take cottage cheese out and put in the work fridge and eat it later as a snack too....

so I am guessing some of you have long work outs? about how longs does your average weight trng session go? I am trying for 30 - 40 minutes of weights and 20 -30 minutes of cardio

Yeah I superset Bis and Tris, so that works well....but I was curious about peoples resting paterns between sets....I was resting quite a bit between sets and lifting heavy / less reps...recently trying to change it up, more reps and less rest between sets...I find I can't do quite as much and hard to amke the speed…

Also, when you come home during the week, unless it is really cold or something, can't you walk with the kids (or push them in a stroller if they aren't old enough to walk themselves?)

I did it 4 years ago in my program it was tough, but do-able Fairbanks??? wow, that ads to your problem too I think, I know I got the winter munchies when I was in Anchorage so I can only imagine Fairbanks...sorry that's not helping you On the bright side, I did snow shoe walking and cross country skii-ing- fun and burned…
