I personally, will not try any 'diet' that I cannot maintain long term. Anything that I do to lose weight fast, will be back just as fast when I go 'off' the eating plan. The goal should be to find that balance that you can live with for life!

You're not getting any stronger?? I am not seeing so much progress, but every day I feel myself getting stronger and more capable. The outward results HAVE to follow.

First thing in the morning! Usually between 5:30 and 6:30 am. I have three small children (5, 4 and 4 mos.) so I need to do it when I will have NO INTERRUPTIONS. Since I work full time, that's the only time that I can guarantee, for the most part I will have the time and energy.

So: After reading your post, this is what stuck out to me. I have been eating 1200 caloires and trying to stick to low carb eating although I have to be careful with that since I've already had ketoacidosis once and was warned that it could kill me if it happens again. **1200 may just be too low for you. You MAY do better…

Yep and I don't do so before cardio. Ever. I wake up and work out IMMEJITLY! Therefore everything that I do after...I already got my workout on!

About 25 lbs. Which let me know that my clothes were a size too small anyway! LOL. It took about 10 lbs for them to fit 'right'. Then the other 15 til they were obviously too big.

There is no spot reduction. Just do whatever makes your entire body smaller. They will shrink.

As my results progress and I start to FEEL the positive effects of health-full living, I have less desire to ruin my results... However I'm not sure if the natural desire will ever go away. I just get stronger in my resolve to avoid them. For the most part.

Edit: I don't eat anything from the gas station anymore. So I did give up cheap treats. If I must have chocolate or sweets...it will be REAL. And worth every.single.calorie!

Nothing, just everything in moderation. And by moderation, I mean hardly ever...but I don't have it in my mind that I can NO LONGER enjoy my favorite foods. I love food too much to eliminate things entirely. I either find a healthier way to enjoy or just have it in smaller amounts and less frequency.

I exercise early in the am as well and I notice the same thing. Since I workout on an empty stomach, I make sure to eat WELL at breakfast. Its easier for me, being a creature of habit to have the same thing for a week. This week I enjoy a cup of steel cut oats sweetened with craisins, 2 boiled eggs, coffee, water. I eat…

I take chicken breasts, brown rice, and sauteed mixed veggies. I also take a small spinach salad just in case I get hungry again.

Make sure my lunch is made and clothes are out for the day. Also, I have my DVD already in the Xbox, so that i can just get dressed and press play. Once I start moving, I lose the sluggish feeling. after a few days, you begin to be less groggy and eventually look forward to it. At first, its ALL a mind game. TEll yourself…

Agreed! I lost optimal weight, when my diet is clean (fruits, veggies, lean protein, water) I lose weight very regularly and quickly. I can consume less calories but of a less vital variety and the weight release just isn't the same.
