Definitely try to do this with diet rather than meds. Cholesterol meds have HORRIBLE side effects. Another thing to consider is that high cholesterol has *not* been scientifically linked to heart disease. Do some research, eat a healthy diet and keep yourself moving.

I make granola out of my oats because oatmeal is too slimy eat. Same oats, same nutrients, same calories, no nasty slime. If you'd like a recipe, PM me and I'll send it to you.

That sounds good! I make little "pizza treats" with zucchini slices, portabella mushrooms or even eggplant slices as the "crust". VERY low cal, all veggie (until I add cheese, and I usually do add cheese lol) way to get my pizza fix without going over on calories.
