The morning sickness....all day and night. And no strong cravings, besides fruit. Mostly food aversion. Now insomnia.... And pain in the night, slight a sharp stretching pain in my stomach......what's that? Stretching ligaments? It's actually wakes me up in the night it hurts that bad.

That's a good point, I didn't consider it because she wasn't religious, she had lost her son so she had another child. No that you mention it, I wonder if the maternal age was higher back then due to religion and lack of birth control?

I was 5'5" 143 pre-pregnancy and was at 1800 1st trimester (although I wasn't logging much) and now 2000 for 2nd trimester, although I rarely reach that. I based this off the literature my OB in the USA gave me, my Australian OB didn't give me guidelines.

Oh.... And my grandmother had my mother at age 38 waaaayyyyy back in 1951! Everything turned out fine, but can you imagine the looks and comments she put up with then?
