MartialAngel... Did you eat 7000cals OVER your weekly maintenance calories...(ie if your goal is to lose 1lb/week you'd have your cals set at 3500 under your maintainance cals...so you'd have had to eat 10500cals OVER what mfp allows you for goals for the week...or 1500 over your daily allowance) It's highly unlikely...you…

Ok so firstly sorry for being quiet this weekend, been exhausted and just couldn't face coming onto the forums so just logged on from my phone. I'm ok, I had a great weekend, quite restful, went to see a football (soccer) match on Saturday with my bf which was amazing and generally had a really lovely weekend with him. He…

Courtney, I am 100% here for you, and although I wasn't exactly where you are (weight-wise), I too have all the medical and family issues, and I knew I needed to get things in check...and I did (and then I slipped, so now I'm re-getting things in check...) Lots of the people on here I've known for I'd say best part of a…

Ok so firstly long overdue responses: Steph/Becky: I do have a mary poppins wardrobe, and at my lowest i was between sizes at about a 10.5-11 (uk, where the sizes only go 10, 12 etc) so I wore a 12 largely due to hips, boobs and bum which no matter what happens I'll always have..(mum calls it peasant stock...others call it…

Right, so I've had a weird weekend. I've felt utterly exhausted and ill all day on friday, so work was a complete chore, made worse by the fact I got an email (and two phone calls) offering me an interview for a job at a different company. I don't have any particular details about the job (I applied back in October) and…

Ok so I have FINALLY updated my weight on here…because the scale finally said a number I can admit to. (I’ve now lost about 10lbs since the first re-weigh in on the 7th Jan but havn’t been able to admit to all the losses I’ve had these 2.5-3 weeks, because I havn’t wanted to admit quite how much I’d managed to put on…)…

The last couple of days I've been HUNGRY...and I am eating tons, and drinking lots, but it's the horrible cold, and it's cold in the office too, and it's week 3 and everything makes me want to eat. I know it'll pass as my body re-adjusts to being healthy, to the cycling, to the baltic temperatures in the office, to the…

I made it into work! Cycled via all the main roads, so was 25mins rather than my usual 15min. But I did it, in wellies and all. And the office is blummin' freezing! Shivering is going to burn some cals today despite having tons of layers on! Hope everyone has a good day! x

Quick update, Uk snow royally sucks...personally it doesn't bother me, I'm happy to scape my car, shovel my drive, drive carefully etc etc...but that doesn't mean the trains run and the roads function *grrrr* But my bf did get to me, we got in several snowy walks with the dogs, we managed to get out to a big shopping…

RIght, so the UK is currently undergoing difficulties due to snow and it's making me sad. It makes me cold (I have tights on under my jeans and socks), boots on, a vest top, a thermal long sleeve top and a nice woolly jumper (with a robin on), and I'm still cold. And it's already 9.45 and still the office is empty...I got…

I don't really understand the question...are you asking how to do a post-workout stretching routine? I know the stretching at the end of 30DS is pretty lame, so I always did extra stretches in addition to the ones on the video. I just worked up the body stretching all the muscles I'd used, legs (front, back and side), back…

This thread will be a success, because even if noone else remains, I'm going to use it to vent, muse and grumble, and hopefully others will occasionally respond. After a successful weekend, I came home and it snowed last night *grumbles*, my mum wanted me to drive to the station, but it wasn't very deep (only half an inch)…

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a great weekend. It's so good to see everyone posting but I'm always really busy at weekends. My bf lives and works 1.5hrs drive away, so at weekeneds either I go to see him, or he comes to me and I get online a bit less. I was worried about how he'd react to me being "good" etc this…

Hey everyone, glad to *meet* you all. If you're looking for friends please add me but *disclaimer, I don't comment of anything unless I have something to add/say to the discussion (but I do read it unless it's during the deepest darkest nighttime of the uk, then sometimes I'll miss it), and also I can sometimes be a bit…

I'm back. Loved this. I'm Laura (or penny) I answer to most things. 25, working (yay) as a trainee architect after 6yrs studying to be one. Just started working in London after 6months of unemployment/temping, so there's the commuting and log work days to contend with, but at least I'm starting to feel in control again.…
-
So I didn't quite make 5/7 for the first week (but I didn't really start until the 5th so I don't feel too bad overall, as I did manage it on every day from then on). This week is going well so far, the commuting exercise is great, and as I get a little more settled in I'm going to try to add some extra stuff in after…

Plan for my new job is to minimise the outgoing of funds. So I cycled to and from the station (saved myself £5 parking), and walked the other end, (saved myself £2.40ish), who knew that saving money would make me feel so smug exercise-wise!?

Hi Jane, I'm late...but I'm in! (sorry the first week of jan is always dead for me as its my bday on the 2nd so my festive period seems to last longer and people refuse to stop giving me cake and demanding me to drink champagne with them! I know, hard life right?) But I'm back on the exercise malarkey as of now, and the…

I have an amazing recipe for orange chocolate mousse pos, which are best made in advance so all you'd have to do is make them before... Or a pavlova/eton mess? Or if making how about a chocolate torte or something? X

We're currently in the lead over california....but i still need to update lee on yesterday's burn (and today's?) so get your totals for today on there for me x
-
Tim I believe based on the spreadsheet that after I report tomorrow we're more than done...but I need to confirm that with Lee...
-
As in we're in south Korea and the next closest team is in India.... We rock!
-
So erm... WE'RE IN THE FREAKING LEAD!!!!!
-
Oh and trust me I REALLY don't mind doing some spreadsheeting and adding and reporting, I don't want to step on anyone's toes though so I'll only add burns if people don't add them after a couple of days, and I'll try to make it clear when I've reported it so there's no confusion! And I quite like being called an elf! Well…

Look at the message I got from lee on Monday night:

Lol you're not a thread killer! I reported 1st and 2nd last night and will do 3rd &4th (more if the 5th is all completed). Jane's completely swamped with work, whereas all I'm doing is being official dog walker/cook/pot washer/and lots of sewing (as I've been making mum a set of cushion covers to go with her new carpet,…

I'm Laura (or Penny), 24, been stuck in a slooooow weight increase phase since the summer (though to be fair I'm still wearing the same size of clothes...even if a few are a bit tight...it's the not being control of my own mealplanning etc)... I'm living at home with my parents (which is hard to be back after 6 years being…

I can't enter into spreadsheet...but I did 1077 today! x

Best most failsafe method...cut a limb off (but it might kinda ruin the look of your dress at the ball....) Seriously though, you can do all kind of quick fixes but even then it probably won't work in such a little amount of time, and it might hinder your longer term goals...how about you just suggest to your hubby that…
