  • Load up on veggies. I prefer cooked veggies to raw, they make me feel fuller. So, I steam up a ton of carrots, cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli, whatever you like, or a few different kinds mixed. Sometimes I fill a whole dinner plate with steamed veggies, with a side of some kind of meat. I am stuffed afterwards.
  • I have it in the morning as a meal replacement mixed with almond milk, before I work out. I may have something more for breakfast after I work out, but I have to eat a little something first or I can't get going.
  • Hot tea in the winter, iced tea this time of year. I make a pitcher every day or 2 in my iced tea maker. It's not green tea, but I am currently addicted to Celestial Seasonings Wild Berry Zinger Herb Tea.

  • My dog does that too, when we get home from running he is all hyper and runs circles around the house, bringing me toys wanting to play. While I am laying on the floor.

  • Count me in too. I have 2 daughters, ages 6 and 8. I don't know if your kids will go for it, but include them in your activities. Train to all run a 5K together. Go for long family bike rides. It's not exactly "you" time, but it's a way to work on yourself, while still spending time with the kids.
  • I think it depends on the individual. I personally have to have breakfast. I always used to eat a bowl of cereal. I stopped eating grains now, so I have a protein shake first thing in the morning. I am always more hungry earlier in the day and could easily eat a big breakfast and lunch and then skip dinner.
