This is not true at all. And yes, you need to go 100% gluten free or it's a waste of time. As the others have said try it for 30 days and then eat something with gluten to see if you can tell the difference. If it stays up for more than a week or 2 then yes I log it. I give myself a chance to get back down there again first. If I can't get down to my low after awhile, I go ahead and log the higher weight and keep on going.

Log everything! I actually just made my diary private because I started not entering stuff that was "bad." I love it, eat it all the time. I usually get Jack Links because that's what I can find. I sometimes get the good stuff from the grass fed beef people at the farmers market. I just bought a bunch today because that's what my first grader wants to take to school for her snack.

I tried on some clothes today and I think all my clothes actually fit me now. I did find a random pair of pre-kids size 8 shorts though. I guess it'd be nice to fit in to those again some day.

I think it depends on your body. I can't eat it - gluten. I have been eating paleo/primal and try to avoid all grains. I did just eat tacos for dinner with gluten free corn shells and I feel really sick. I think my body rejects them now.

Yeah, try Primal, rather than Paleo. Not as restrictive, you can have dairy. I make protein shakes with almond milk. If you need calories, try snacking on nuts - macadamias, almonds. I have larger calves too. No matter what weight I am, they are disproportionately large. Nothing I can do about it, thankfully my husband likes shapely legs. Can't wear tall boots either though.

My favorite is anything outdoors - walking, hiking, biking, tennis. Least favorite - machines inside - treadmill or spinning I don't mind classes indoors, but running or peddling on a machine inside going nowhere drives me nuts. I run the track inside in the winter, at least I'm going somewhere.

Yeah, me too. If my face isn't bright red and burning hot I must not have worked out hard enough. And it takes forever to go back to normal color, like hours, even after I shower.

Walked 5 miles this morning. Would have gone longer, but my dog crapped out on me, he went and layed down in the shade and wouldn't walk anymore, so we had to head home.
