That sounds amazing! I love sparkling water, I usually get the coconut La Croix but it's pretty pricey. My favorite go-to food is probably eggs. I know that sounds boring, but they're so versatile and filling!

I find that if you make it with almond milk instead of water, it makes a HUGE difference in taste and a small difference in calories. I eat mine just made with almond milk and cinnamon. It's great with almond butter and banana too!

Peanut butter, pickles, bacon on a cheeseburger. Apples and cheese. Yogurt and cottage cheese (don't know if that one is really all that weird)

I have a not so close friend who is an ItWorks distributor, and she posts anywhere from 6-10 times per day about why you should try "those crazy wrap things" (that phrase makes me want to barf). I don't think she realizes that she is being taken advantage of, but is a grown woman and can make her own choices. I don't…

Almond milk makes such a huge difference. My go-to is vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp pb2, 8oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1/2 serving of whatever greens are in my fridge/freezer currently.

They're excellent with coconut oil too!

Yum!!

La Croix sparkling water. Zero calories, zero sweeteners, zero sodium, and tons of flavors to choose from. Took me from drinking 2-3 cans of diet soda a day to no soda at all in no time flat.

I have just finished week three, and am enjoying the program as it gives me direction I don't inherently have. As far as outdoors, I can't seem to do the same things I'm doing on the treadmill without horrible lung pain. That's a huge deterrent for me.

I love Killer Dave's thin sliced good seed bread for 70 calories a slice. Twice the calories of what you mentioned but so so good. I also like to make tuna salad with half mayo half greek yogurt to help cut calories with little to no difference in flavor. A sandwich with that is certainly more than 190 calories, but I…

Eating in moderation, and deciding that some things just aren't worth it aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. There are some foods that taste good, but I don't eat and I still eat the foods I love in moderation.

This sounds SO GOOD!!! Minus the cacao nibs for me, but I'm the type that likes fruit OR chocolate and not mixing the two. My mouth is watering just thinking about this.

I ran a 10.5 minute mile, walked for a minute and then ran a 10 minute mile! Also walking past anything reflective and noticing the shape of my hamstrings and being surpised at the firmness of my arms when not even flexing!!

Bulk foods and Frozen foods!!! Whoever says you can't eat healthy on a budget is sadly misinformed. I buy frozen chicken breasts and frozen fish and frozen veggies. A bag of brown rice goes a long way!!!! Also look for sales and if you find something on sale that's non perishable or will last a long time in the freezer…

I really do think it has a lot to do with your attitude/confidence. Kind of like when you feel unnoticed as a single person and then when you meet someone and you're feeling happy and confident you attract the attention you wish you had been getting before. My progress is small yet but I've always been the type who doesn't…

I LOVE swimming!!! Only problem? I hate pools and I live in Western Washington where there are only 2 months of the year you can swim outside :(
-
Congrats on your own progress and many thanks for the advice!!!

Thank you!!!

Thanks :)

I have been on a 500 calorie deficit for a few months now. I was looking more for what kind of exercising I should be doing.

Carbs for me!!! Luckily I never had much of a sweet tooth. Pizza, pasta, sandwiches, bread and butter... you name it. Also, I'm a beer girl, and I like DARK beers at that... stouts and porters go good with pizza!!!

I love watching my reflection in the mirror when I do tricep pulldowns!! Also I love watching my legs when I'm doing leg presses, I've always hated my legs and they're starting to take a shape I never thought possible :D. All you ladies look fabulous by the way!!!

YUM!!! I could scarf down unagi all day. Don't even get me started on caterpillar rolls. Mine is by no means something I could eat every day even if I wanted, but I love a good cheeseburger with peanut butter on it.

I think it's probably a little different for everyone. For me, truly being on vacation means enjoying the local cuisine!!! It's part of the experience. That being said, I usually work out at the gym at the hotel if available or find ways to stay active. Everything in moderation, have a healthy breakfast and dinner, but…

You look fantastic!!!! Congrats from a fellow 12th (wo)man :)

This!! I've always loved the phrase "Lose weight in the kitchen, get fit in the gym" But the two definitely go hand in hand!!! Working out motivates me to fuel my body with the right foods that give me a killer work out. It's a happy cycle. I agree with everyone that you're never "too big" to go to the gym, just make sure…

Yes, I should be kinder to myself and I tend to get lost in what I don't like. Thanks for the support!! I have the same issue with knee high boots too, but I love the way my legs look in a dress :)
