Dang! Could only muster 30! Butt and thighs are tight and hurt because I did the Arc Trainer for over 40 minute about an hour ago....I seriously need to go stretch! I need to make it a habit to read your challenges earlier in the day.....Love them! Thank you! :flowerforyou:

This one was easy...added extra cucumbers at lunch and brussell sprouts to the dinner menu.

I got my BodyBugg from Santa Babe this year and I AM ADDICTED! It is such an eyeopener and the reporter and amateur techie in me has to investigate all the possibilities and get the answers. My HRM and the machines at the gym had me overestimating my daily burn so that was a unpleasant reality check. But on the flipside I…

Amen and Amen to that! I go by the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) rule: Fresh & Natural as much as possible. This is helping me to retrain my tastebuds and in the process curb my carb cravings and binges. The key is there are several options in the low-carb arsenal for us to choose from. I know a low-carb lifestyle works for…

I'm a 45 year old WAHM of two (9 & 12 years old). The heaviest weight I am conscious of is 331. I lost 10 of that before joining WW and losing 156 and getting to my goal weight of 165. But I regained nearly 70. I regained because I got arrogant and stopped doing the things that made the weightloss journey a success and I…

When the stress kicks in refined carbs are my drug of choice. If its salty, sweet, spicy, crunchy it will trigger an unbelievable and uncontrollable binge. I'm working on accepting that most of the time the things I'm stressing over really isn't worth it. So I'm working to put things in perspective. So if its not truly…

I sign off on everything that's been said before and add that I will overeat instead of "wasting" food. So if the kids don't want it, "I'll eat it!" If its approaching it expiration date, "I'll eat it!" Put me in front of a buffet, "I'm a beast!" Embarassing but this is my truth!!!

I must admit that I failed on Sunday's challenge. I had eggs and cheese at breakfast and later chicken with my blackeye peas and greens. Oops! way more than an hour of tv. I did do 64 minutes of exercise and drank more than 2L H2O. Today will be a much better day...

I stayed within my calorie limits but my carb was in the red more often than not!! Good news is at my weighin this morning I'm still at 213. Was hoping for a loss but I'm happy with the status quo. Had a great 3 egg with blue cheese omellette at brunch and I'm still in a great zone.

Found the Coffee-mate Sugar Free Peppermint Mocha at Wegman's. 15ml has 2g Carbs. This is my morning coffee treat...Yummmmm! The Sugar Free Hazelnut is pretty good too with same carbs. The Hazelnut is powdered on shelf while the Peppermint is found in refrigerator section with other creamers.

The first few days will be hard while your body works to ween itself from your carb addiction. But if you stick with it it really works. I did Atkins and lost 156 lbs in 53 weeks. Kept it off for a year but slowly got back into my carb addictions and ended up gaining back nearly 70 lbs. Since reconnecting with MFP on Dec.…

Hi All. A low carb lifestyle took me from my heaviest at 331 to my goal weight of 165. I got cocky and I lost my way and went back to carb binging and that led to weight gain up to 231.5. Since returning to MFP and a low carb approach on Dec. 2 I've lost 18 of those pounds and I feel great. I must confess not being well…

Didn't quite hit the mark on yesterday's challenge-only 6 glasses of water. However today will not be a real challenge for me because with a 9 & 12 year old we make family meal time a priority. I'm still amazed the issues that come up for discussion...Priceless!!

When I was pregnant with my first child I was publishing an A&E weekly in the DC area, and working as an adjunct professor, teaching 2 classes. When I finally informed my journalism students that I was going on maternity leave they didn't believe me. They hadn't realized I was pregnant. Their collective shock confused me…

This is not easy for me I'm only half way there but I'm going to try. Gotta hurry too or I'll be up all night.

I really like this because it will force out of my comfort zone. The no caffeine day is going to be torture for me and EVERYONE around me...but I'm game!

Since returning to MFP on Dec. 2, 2011 I made a committment to not eat any processed carbs until Jan. 2012. So that meant no bread, pasta, rice. Instead I ate lot of salads/vegetables, berries, raw nuts, cheese, greek yogurt, poultry & fish. Have I cheated? Hell Yeah! but its gotten a lot easier to stick with it and 18…

For the emotional binge eater that I am this is a constant challenge. Today was another good day. Thanks for another goodie!!!

Since the go-kart my kids wanted was not in the budget -- my 12 year old son loved his Ipod touch, radio docking station and leather jacket. My 9 year old daughter loved her radio docking station and tech jacket and hat. She was blown away/shocked/embarassed/excited by the collection of 7 sets of bra/underwear. JCPenny had…

I was a grandma's girl and yesterday I just invoking her memories for my children during our Kwanzaa celebration, even though she's been gone many many years. Your grandma is gone but the memories will stay with you, don't let those die. My condolences to you and your family. So since I'm in Maryland and most of my family…
