This could quite possibly be the case, and yet another reason to only eat a portion of your exercise calories. I'm with a PP,if I feel a serious burn, and I'm exercising for quite some time, I'll have no compunction at all to eating some of my calories. But if, after logging my exercise, I feel the number is way to high…

Here's my thing--while I do agree that the more times one eats, the more opportunities there are for over eating, I personally suffer the next day if I eat too many of my calories in one meal. I get hungrier the next day, and find it harder to stop. It seems as if it undoes all of my careful eating--if it's OK this one…

You know, this is what's happening to me! I never thought to log the slight ups (since I weigh every day) to figure out my cycle, that's an awesome idea for those of us who can't help but step on the scale every day.

You know, I'd have to say I agree with your assessment. I'm not sure if MFP goes off of weight and height when it calculates it, or simply gives an average. There is a BIG difference in someone who is 304 and 5"10 vs someone who's 5'6 and 154. I'm currently doing Dance Dance Revolution on my Wii, and I like it because I…

That's awesome! I usually have the opposite reaction, my DL was taken before my third child and I was up to 60 lbs heavier.

Huge congrats on your transformation, that's awesome! And like you said, you don't have to be 110 to wear a bikini. I can definitely see muscle tone, and that's amazing. Losing weight is one thing, building and toning is quite another. Even though I'll never be able to wear a bikini without a tummy tuck (ruined stomach…

I don't know of any OTC ones that work personally, but I had success on Phen a few years ago before the birth of my 2nd child. Took it for a month, and continued to lose until I hit goal. Didn't gain it back until after my 3rd child, not everyone gains it back. I do agree with water, water, water. When I drink a ton I…

http://www.amazon.com/Camelbak-Groove-Liter-Bottle-Seafoam/dp/B0043834AS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1306333460&sr=1-1 This is what I have, and it's awesome! The packaging says it has a plant based filter, but it's carbon--not savvy on those types of things, but I thought all carbon was plant based? Anyway, I…

Hey, at least they didn't split in the rear...I had that happen when I was in denial over my weight gain in November of last year, and even though it was in the privacy of my closet it didn't make it any easier :( Now, to the god part....HURRAY for your loss in sizes! That's freaking awesome, very proud. You'll hit your…

Can't say if the weight is enough, as I personally couldn't hack it due to back issues, but hubby does it. We had an adjustable set as well and had to go buy a few separate ones. My husband found that having to switch the weights broke up his concentration, he much preferred the flow of having different sets available for…

Howdy! Hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.

I think you're absolutely right! I can't help but step on the scale every morning, and I get bummed if the loss doesn't start adding up. BUT, I did notice that my face and neck is noticeably slimmer, and that's just in the last week--the week that weight loss has been slow :)

Today I love Papa Murphy's Gourmet Vegetarian DeLite pizza...only 320 calories for two slices! Crazy that I have heartburn from the cheese, but I'm still loving it :)

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

Most definitely, you can do it!!!!!!!!!! Hope I put enough encouragement in the exclamations :D You could switch up lunch/dinner to help every other couple of days, and vary your exercises...I know that if you want it bad enough you CAN do it. Now go do it!

I use a camelback water bottle, and it's awesome! Filtered, everything is dishwasher safe...plus I drink a ton of water with it. Definitely worth the money.
