This is what I do as well. I log most (usually all) of my food for the next day after the kids are in bed. I build in all the meals and snacks and weigh/measure everything. Sometimes I tweak it during the day but it gives me a head start. Good luck!

I'd definitely puke if I did that. Max I can eat just prior to the gym is about half an RX bar or a small piece of fruit. Whatever works for you though.

I cut all added sugar a while back and it's amazing how my tastes have changed. I can honestly happily easy berries for dessert and bananas taste so sweet to me now I can barely eat a whole one. Cut it completely for at least a month and see what happens. It'll suck in the beginning but it's worth it.

I only eat around 1400 calories a day but it's mostly fat and protein so I'm almost never hungry. More meat, more nuts, more veg.
-
More protein. More (good) fats. Those will fill you up.

Your fitbit calories are likely more accurate than the MFP ones.

I was weighing obsessively and it was killing me. I gave my scale to my bf and now I only weigh once every 2 weeks at the gym with my trainer. It's been much better for me to not even have the temptation in the house.

I started on the 3rd and so far so good, I'm only 3 days in but I'm not hungry and I'm feeling good  Good luck!

40 5'6" Starting weight 235 Goal weight (for now) 169 Current weight 177 I chose that goal when I was at my heaviest but had no idea what it would look or feel like so I may reassess. I'm just taking it one day at a time right now!

I do these a lot. I usually make a whole tray of them at once stick them in the fridge and have 2-3 of them for breakfast

Get rid of those too big clothes, reward yourself with some clothes that fit and then start strength training to get rid of the "flapping" ;)

I'm in the same boat so right now I'm being really strict for a month (no cheating!) and hoping that will create some habits I can stick with. Plus, I'm getting results, which is really motivating. I'm staying at or below my MFP calories every day and doing my damndest to exercise as often as possible. Just commit to it…

Wear one anyway!

Me too. I have lots of different teas, in different flavors, with and without caffeine that I try to reach for when I need a snack. Especially if I want a dessert.

But if you build some muscle you'll lose more fat....

I'm 5'6 and my target weight for now is 175 with a bodyfat of 23% per a hydrostatic bodyfat test. When I went in January I was at 193.5 (of which 134.8lbs was lean mass) & 30.3%. That's the goal they set for me over six-months but I can't see myself getting much lower than that. Still "overweight" but no longer "obese", I…

I'll be there -- WALKING! I walked Shamrock'n, this should be a piece of cake!

I'm in love with Flatouts wraps -- only 100 cals (some even less), lots of protein and nice and big! I spread a litte mayo mixed with Sriracha if I'm feeling spicy or Trader Joes Cilantro Chive Greek Yogurt Dip on and then load it up with leftovers from the grill, chicken, steak, pork tenderloin and then spinach, arugula…

The more often and heavier I lift the smaller I get. My waist, my hips, it's all shrinking and getting leaner.....You don't have to be stuck with anything!

I'm in my pic -- you just don't know which one I am ;-)

I have a good friend who gave up Diet Coke (on the advice of her Dr. and numerous "healthy" friends) for a month and she didn't see/feel a difference so she went right back to it. I got talked into quitting it by the crazy hot dude at the nutrition store. (Total sucker for advice from a hot guy) and I feel better and I am…

Changing a size is huge, don't sell that short! It's hard to see the changes in yourself because you see yourself every day. I didn't see anything for a while either until I saw a picture of myself and compared it with an older photo. Bam, there it was! Make yourself some mini goals and rewards and trust the process. 62lbs…

Have you considered getting a body fat test? I did hydrostatic body fat testing and they were able to really break down my body composition so I understood it and could make peace with the numbers on the scale. I bet you have a lot more lean mass than most women your height which is why you definitely don't look like what…

I work out Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday just because that's when the classes I want are available and it fits my schedule. I've been fine. You just have to be extra vigilant about calories on those days.
