Thanks for the taking the time to provide this info! Very helpful- I've plateau'd~ I've only got 5 more lbs. to my goal

Hmmmmm.....sounds like you are a stress eater/ and maybe your mind is playing games with you. I suggest ditching the calorie counting for now and just eat healthier/ exercise regularly. Once you feel you have more control, come back to calorie counting.

You can do it- keep it one day at a time.

I've done it/ it works! However, the workouts are quite long (avg. 58 min). My husband and I just bought Tony Horton's 10 minute trainer series/ so far, we love it. Good Luck- you will see results, but you have to make the time.

I've seen this advice many times as well, hope it works

If my plateau doesn't break in the next week, I will try your approach. Thanks!

I work full time as well and have a toddler (almost 3). I also have a 10yr old son. Although I hate working out late, I find that I do my best workouts at home with DVD's after my daughter goes to bed. I also try to workout during lunch whenever possible. Hope that helps.

Good Luck Dani!

I only have KenpoX experience, so I guess my vote goes there (sorry I can't help more)

There are warnings about not starting P90X if you are "out of shape" (not saying you are out of shape, just be careful). I suggest starting with something else and then pick it up.

I have a NordicTrack too! Don't know the full model name off hand, but its a spacesaver model. I've had my elliptical for about 3 years and can't remember when I started noticing the squeeks. About two weeks ago I asked my husband to fix it- he did (w/Teflon Grease). I don't know where he got it (he is a mechanic), but it…

I was sad to hear of the loss of one of your twins. I struggled with infertility and lost a few myself. I wish you the best of luck. This site is working for me.

Good Luck! This site is working for me

Too funny, I'm getting a puppy soon (still too small to take from mama), and I was thinking about this! Wish you were in S. CA

Welcome- it works for me. Add me as a friend if you would like.

I don't own this, but I can offer suggestions. You can try to google/ research online what the average calorie burn is, then add it to the database yourself. If you have a heart /calorie monitoring watch, you can capture your calories burned that way.

My Diary is also open, feel free to take a look. However, I fully depend on Slimfast Peanut Butter Crunch bars as my GO TO snack (100 calories and fills me up).

I've read its good to drink 1 cup a day. Bonus if its before a workout.

I'm curious to see if the app is available to the Droid/ Verizon. I'll have to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the share.

I just recently finished my first 1/2 marathon on May 1~ so exciting! I have been thinking about training for a full, but have not fully decided yet. I'm in the middle of P90X and trying to balance all this exercise and food is a full time job (on top of my full time job). I agree with Rebecca- we really don't need to eat…

P90X yoga is really only 45 minutes, so don't look at the 90 minute time frame. The remaining 45 minutes is geared towards "balance" and there are a series of postures to hold. I too do not care much for the P90X yoga (my least favorite), but I do it because its part of the routine. And guess what....the routine works! So…

I too am doing P90X and in the fourth week (however,I did not fully follow the schedule and had days where I did the elliptical or ran rather than p90). At first I too gained, rather than lost.....however, that was short lived and I did notice my clothes were looser regardless of what the scale said. I didn't start My…
