I get sick of people who have unhealthy habits always downing you for declining. "Always on a diet" my FIL always says. Maybe I don't want to be unhealthy, and that is a choice - is that ok with you???? It pisses me off. We don't pawn our stuff on them, why can't they just let it go?

not at all. I noticed the faster I tried to train, the more injuries I got. Now I always run with pain, so I wouldn't push it, you're doing fine.

I saw a lady in her 60s wearing sunglasses talking on her cell phone on the treadmill. She stepped off the treadmill 90% of the time so she could continue talking. Obviously, she's got tons of time on her hands. One guy once was yelling and grunting loudly as he was lifting by himself. Unnecessary.

Make whatever you want, just eat half of what you normally would. That will help cut calories.

I do not eat before unless it's a 8+ run. I drink 10oz before any run, and over 6 miles I bring water w/ me. I concentrate on eating after. I usually don't use energy stuff on my runs unless it's 8+. And I agree w/ PP, it doesn't matter what I eat in the morning, but the night before that gives me my energy.

Try not to get frustrated, and maybe up it 200 calories for a week, and then if that doesn't work shoot for 1600 calories and maybe that will tell you were you're at. It all depends on how you feel. I usually run only 3x a week, but I do anywhere from 5-8 miles at a time, and I don't want my body to suffer. If you are doing short 2-3 mi runs, you can run every day if you feel good. I also have pain in my lower legs if I over do it, so I tend to let them rest by doing other things.

Great job! I completely know how you feel. I am only 5 lbs less than when I started in November, but I looked at my measurement change and lost about 15 inches altogether! Makes a big difference when you track all measurements, because without that I had no clue!

I get hot really fast, so a sweatshirt and pants works for me. I'm not really picky on what I wear, I just hate overdressing to ear I have to wear the extra clothes when I'm hot. I haven't been running much with this crappy weather either. It's cramping my motivation. :/

can you work out in the mornings? That's the only time I can get it done or it doesn't get done! I have 3 kids, a full-time job, and I do all the cooking/cleaning at night...best I can do is a walk with the kids at night if I don't get any workout done.

The office junk freakin kills me! Every other day with that crap! We don't have candy bowls, but 9/10 of us could care less what they eat therefore are inconsiderate of others. If I didn't work in an office, I'd prob lose ten pounds in a week. and people say...then just don't eat it, but they obviously don't understand…

Thanks everyone...I definitely think I was trying to kill myself with 1200 cal a day....I'll get it up a little and see how it goes...the more I deprive myself the more I fall off track....everyone that replied helped me. thanks!

I'm no expert but I would do a little more cardio, even if its just 20 min a day 5x a week. And try more berries instead of bananas, I try to limit the amount of bananas I eat week. Try grapefruit once a day.

I shoot for about 1/2 of my exercise calories. Although I am really not good about calorie control :(. But I think that is a good guideline, unless you are not doing strenuous exercise.
