I have a Kitchen Aide and it's awesome. I have never tried the others mentioned in above comments, except the cheaper $20 walmart models (which those didn't get the smoothies "smooth" at the time I bought mine about 10 years ago). Love my blender. I think it every time I make a daquiri or smoothie.

I re-read your question...I would say the biggest offenders would be fried things inside the sushi (example: sweet potato rolls have fried sweet tater in them...mmm) and stay away from the spice mayo (so good though). White rice isn't the worst thing ever if you try to control your portions. They may even have brown rice…

I love sushi    I'm thinking there are much worse foods you could "over-do" it on. Like cross fit said, eat it! And maybe lighten up the rest of the day and tomorrow and then run an extra lap. No biggie because really, it's not an entirely unhealthy choice, IMHO. I only eat veggie sushis though so when…

This one time at band camp, I knew a guy with one ball. He was known as "one ball". A tumor had grown inside the other and it had to come off.

Yeah, when I am on the elliptical, I have a front row view of the whole lifting area and when bored, I will people watch and I have noticed this one older gent who frequents and who is WAY more interested in mixing in with the younger, muscle-e boys than building his own muscle-eez. He will do like, 3 reps, then, sit up…

Yup, some rude people up in here. Was just thinking that myself! Oh well. And it's true it's an open sea, this internet. You get all kinds. Makes me feel a little less concerned though now that I realize it's just part of reading these MFP posts. At first, I was actually shocked at the disrespect! But after reading this…

Yeah, I noticed I wasn't the only one that noticed the ankles. It made my spine tighten at the thought of bones structure breaking down with the weight, eeeeek! Course, some people truly may be formed this way regardless of weight. Fat inside the body around organs seems even more concerning that the kind we don't like to…

TV Guide was a channel. Just sayin.

Mrs... May I ask.......at risk of sounding super novice...what do you believe the difference is in Your eating and exercise habits with weight watchers compared to the MFP habits you had? I always felt like I ate too much on weight watchers due to unlimited veg and fruit...love that stuff  Is it just that you track…

Oh yeah and here something fun to do when you first get the HRM: wear it to do mundane life things, grocery shopping/going to your normal work for 8 hours (like if you are a nurse or someone who moves a lot and can actually get away with having it on)/helping someone move/painting a wall...whatever...and THEN wear it just…

Hey! I don't think there is right or wrong answer. I'd say you'll have to use your best judgement. I do think, overall, logging exercise can potentially slow or halt weight loss, if that is your goal because it's all such an estimation game...unless you are weighing each morsel of food and counting calories to the finite…

hmmmmm...come think...my friend has fake boobs. She got them BEFORE hooters (some crazy ex-bf talked her into that) and so I'm thinking it has less to do with your thickness or cellulite status.

I have an incredibly intelligent friend (who works as a physical therapist by day and used to moonlight as hooters girl a couple days a week just to have some fun money)...she is 5ft even and though I do not know how much she weighed at that time, she was not super thin...nor was she void of cellulite. She definitely is…

I am a vegetarian and have recently been researching this question myself and I have seen everything from 64 grams for a 180lb person such as myself all the way to 180 grams (given that is my weight and that some prescribe that you eat in grams of protein what you weigh or what you desire to weigh). Cutting calories AND…
