Hello all again - thanks for the welcome! Not a bad start, have managed my morning 1/2 hour run with the dog before work each day since last Thursday, and a long walk (5 miles on Saturday and a shorter one on Sunday) Did an hour of kettlercise on Saturday, and my legs got progressively stiffer on Sunday and Monday - lots…

Hello all - hope it is OK for me to join this post - I have not been doing anything diet wise for ages and the rot has really set in. Between Feb11 and Nov 11 I lost about 24 lbs, was very fit, running daily and going to gym 3 times a week, walking dog etc. This time last year I did a 10k run in under an hour and was so…

Hi from Manchester - joined a few years ago, but mainly used WW forums. Given up on that now. Have joined a few groups on here. Typical miserable weather here today, but last week was great. Roll on summer - or what passes for summer in this country!

I eat good food, but portion size and wine are my problems. Have not exercised much either following a few injuries. 60th birthday this…

10 st 6 that's 146 pounds - may not seem much to some, but I was size 14 (UK) going on 16 and felt horrible. Got to 119 with WW then Christmas came and I promptly put almost 7 lbs back on. Now aiming for 8st 5 that's 117 with MFP.

Don't forget that if you get a larger breed dog as a pup, it has a lot of growing to do, and it is recommended that you don't give them hard exercise until their growth plates are closed, which can be as much as 18 months to 2 years in the bigger dogs. So you may have some waiting to do. Just because the dog CAN run,…
