take biotin. it worked for my aunt who went through chemo; she didn't loose all of her hair.

Taking your measurements as well will probably allow you to actually see the results in your size, not just in your weight. Sometimes when you are doing resistance training/weight lifting, your body will actually get smaller with no notice in your actual weight. Also, its possible you are not eating enough calories - that…

its probably better to stretch it out so that you can make it "stick". And one thought I had as I was reading your question - why are you going to go to a 2000 calorie diet? Perhaps you can do the research on how many calories at man of your goal weight should eat and set it a little lower than that so you avoid weight…

One more thing - if you add weight lifting or resistance exercise to your exercise regimen and lift reasonably heavy, you will see your body tighten up faster than you will notice yourself loosing pounds on the scale. Its a good idea to take your measurements a well as look at the scale so you can feel better about your…

My understanding is that when you are breastfeeding, you should not be going below at least 2000 calories per day because so many of the calories are needed for the baby. Also, it is not safe to loose more than 1 pound per week due to the breastfeeding. You should probably adjust your calories manually to that 2000 mark in…

Everyone here has great suggestions that will definitely work for you because it sounds like you are missing the protein and that's why you are not getting filled up. Also, keep in mind that you don't have to eat traditional breakfast food for breakfast. You can have your favorite healthy meal anytime of the day, even if…

If you get up one hour earlier, then you can get your workout in.

I love the products by Isagenix and they are available online so you can get them in Australia. The protein powder is thick and creamy even wen you mix it with only water.
-
Oh yes, this is the most important thing hands down!

I'm assuming you mean should you only do cardio now until you loose weight and then start weight training "later" after you have shed some pounds and the answer is NO. You should be doing both now. You cannot build muscle over fat which some people think (hell, I used to think it...LOL). What I know is that muscle burns…

I love the Jay Robb brand protein and his products are pretty high quality as well (I mix with non-fat milk for consistency). Or I also use Isagenix but you can only get that online. I like the Isagenix vanilla but its not very sweet so you may want to add Stevia and the creamy chocolate is really good on its own. And…

You may need to space your meals differently or eat more times during the day; obviously not more calories, but break up the calories differently so you don't have that crash. Also, when do you work out? Sometimes when I start the day with a workout, I have more energy throughout the day.

I was just about to ask the same thing...so happy I know now becuase I've been wondering for a couple of months now...LOL.

I literally just finished the Yo Greek brand blueberry and granola yogurt and I LOVED it! I had the vanilla one before and I wasn't such a fan. I think that the vanilla is lacking flavor in that brand. I am an avid yogurt eater and find that the regular yogurts are pretty much all very similar in texture and flavor but…

I tried to do it that way and I found that it was very difficult to stay on track and keep up with the program. What worked for me was to get up an hour earlier each day and just get it done. You will be better off that way than skipping.

I would love to; however, I'm leaving to Europe on Tuesday. Can we start like the first week in September? Does that work for you?

Of course swimming is the obvious but I realized that you already know that so, what about boxing - like regular old fashioned boxing. I do it all the time and its a really good cardio workout and your knee, besides standing, won't really be used. Its even better if you can put on boxing gloves and hit the bag. Also, some…

you do not have to wait until after you exercise to eat your exercise calories. The calorie count is overall for the day so if you know you are going to workout at night, you can eat more during the day to eat those calories.

Great ideas! For your ice cream cravings, I find that the Skinny Cow brands actually taste better than the Weight Watchers ones. I love the vanilla ice cream cookie sandwiches, the caramel truffle bars, and the cones. mmmm....

If I knew the difference between a pound of weight and a kilo of weight, I could help out...

I log in my strength training as a circuit workout in the cardio section and put the time it took me to do the workout which triggers the calories to count. Then on the same day I log the exercises specifically in the strength training below.
-
Personally, I log all of my weight lifting or resistance workouts in cardio under circuit training general and then add the actual resistance exercises under the strength training section. That way I get to track the calorie burn of the workout and keep a list of the exercises I did. Hope that helps.

Good for you. You look awesome! I'm going to be just like you when I grow up....LOL ;-)

Sometimes if you are not losing weight, you may not be taking in enough calories, especially if the shakes are only 90 calories each. You probably need to add veggies and fruit in between to increase your calories to a level where your body will respond.
-
You should incorporate free weights and/or resistance exercises because if you do them in a circuit, you will burn fat and tone up at the same time. If you don't know how to lift weights or are unsure what to do, I think that an employee of the gym will show you. So like you could spend 30 minutes doing the HIIT training…

Good for you. Now that you have exceeded your "normal", you can do it more and more. The sky is the limit for you!

I have read that doing aerobics first thing in the morning is good on an empty stomach because it increases the after burn. However; I also read that if you are doing any strength training first thing in the morning, the body needs some type of nutrition to help to build muscle properly. Oxygen magazine suggests chocolate…

I haven't checked yet but what about you tube. Is it on there?
