I do hills at least once a week & the hill I was on was really not anything to speak of. I'll RICE it. I had a bike ride scheduled today but I'm skipping that. The stairs hurt really bad this morning, so I took the elevator. It's gotten a little better as the day has progressed. Thanks for the advice!

The slope of the hill changes your calorie burn. It depends on your speed and effort too. An average runner burns about 100 calories per mile, add in hills and you're still only up to about 120-130 calories per mile. I'm going to sound like a pregnant lady (which I'm not), but I eat them raw all the time. As in, sit down with sliced radishes and eat them like chips. They are seriously like 1 calorie each and they fulfill my need for crunchy foods (I'm a texture person).
