  • I love this salad, but admit it's the teriyaki dressing that gives it the spicy kick. I saw an add on TV that said 460 calories, but I have not been able to find a breakdown yet either. They put the wantons on the side so you don't have to add those in. That's probably the worse part, the rest is greens/peppers/chicken/a…
  • Here's another interesting article that describes many of the symptoms I have experienced.... http://allergies.about.com/od/anaphylaxis/a/eia.htm
  • I can absolutely identify. It happens to me every time I exercise. Sometimes it's not just my legs either, but my arms and hands. It's crazy and makes exercising really uncomfortable. At first I thought it was something new in my diet - whey protein in the shakes or something in the protein bars, but eventually I…
  • How fun! I will take your challenge. I don't necessaryily get on to post every day, but I'm going to print a copy to carry with me to work on throughout the week. Thanks!!
  • Seems I remember lots of healthy options at most of the Disney resorts and restaurants. I never struggled to find salads, fish, or chicken. They have some really good seafood options throughout. And don't worry about exercise - you will end up walking miles and miles in the high heat! Just be sure to drink lots of fluids…
  • Love Bon Jovi - super upbeat exercise music!
  • Motley Crue - Wild Side. Love this song. Inspires me like to no other, and maybe just a tiny bit applicable!!
  • How funny - I never would have thought of tuna and brown rice (or any other) together! My favorite lunch is watermelon and peppers. Watermelon gives me a little sweetness and the peppers - red, yellow, green, orange are just so crunchy and yummy. I can totally fill up on these two items. Yum!
  • Just keep your sense of humor! It was a real hoot the first few times. I felt so uncoordinated - but kept moving all the while. Not sure if I burned more calories trying to keep up or laughing at myself. Stick with it and you will get it eventually. Enjoy!
  • I run to Motley Crue. Nothing motivates me more. Just when I think I can't take one more step, I switch on Crue and get a whole second wind! I love Tommy Lee :) Share your playlist!

  • I really like your idea of running each week twice, once inside and once outside. That is smart, as I feel there is a huge difference between the two. I started in Feb and got through week 3, inside. I then tried to move outside onto concrete and damaged my knee so badly that I ended up on crutches, unable to even walk.…
