  • if you think it has to do with your breathing try slowing down or stopping and putting your arms over your head to strech it out while you slow your breathing....usually works for me
  • I use Jillian Micheals Protein powder to do shakes after my workout. It hasn't given me any issues with loosing weight, but I would say it has helped with my mucles as far as soreness and repair. I would give it a shot.

  • try icing them before you run and after, take ibuprofen, and then wrap your leg from ankle to knee. The pressure on it helps with the pain. I use to get them all the time playing tennis and that is what the trainer at school had me do. Looked silly with my skirt...lol...but it helped...a lot
  • I don't deny, I plan it into my day cause trying to ignore cravings, espically when you are first trying to change eating habits is hard. So I figure it in and leave a little playing room cause I don't want the craving to overwhelm me and then I end up eating waaaaay to much of it and feeling awful about it.
  • you need to be doing cardio and strength training. I just finished my 30 day shred and my belly has undergone a HUGE transformation. Firming the muscles while burning away the fat will change they appearance of all your body, but for me, the biggest change was my stomach :)

  • I think it has the possibility to work, but you have to have a strong core or you could end up hurting yourself. If your back and abs aren't strong you could hurt them doing the exercises.   • okay, for all those wondering. I did the shred everyday that was possible. I did miss several days due to muscle recovery and/or life intruding. I also run/walk 3.5 miles 5 days a week.
  • I won't lie, since I'm still a ways away from my goal, I'm doing the goodwill thing mostly. You can find some nice stuff there and it's not too expensive since hopefully I won't be in these sizes long. :)

  • I have to say I like this ^^^ and blanket statements are rarely true. I may not drive a stick well, but I can be ready in about 20 mins, and I am def a pro a multi-tasking.

  • nope, won't hurt you. Protein acutally is really great for muscles. It helps to repair and build them up. From all I've read and heard, the protein levels here on MFP are low. I am always shooting to be over in my protein.
  • I'm doing 30 day shred from Jillian Michaels. I saw results by the time I was 10 days in. It's only 20 mins, but it really works. I have a love/hate relationshipe with Jillian. I love the results she's getting me, but I hate her when I'm doing it :)
